Impromptu weekday dinner with my friend & partner. One word I can say is EXCELLENT! From foods, service to the place itself all is excellent! We just walk around K-road to find what we’ll have for dinner then saw this lovely place with warm & intimate ambience really inviting us, and we do not regret any seconds we spent there. Foods from tapas, main & dessert all are beautiful & well present. I never taste quinoa can be cooked that good. Their cocktails was top notch, all is yum, even the quality of ice cubes so amazingly crystal clear. We wont forget the amazing dining experience & service from the friendly owner Pablo & as well our server Jocelyn, she is lovely lady with beautiful smile! Thank you for make our dinner more wonderful guys, will be def recommend and back to taste another Peruvian food on the menu

Had the most amazing day here doing a private cocktail class to celebrate a hens. Enjoyed a glass of bubbly on arrival. Jess, Nathan and Pablo was so accomodating to all of us group of 11. Jess and Nathan were also very knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun. Not only was it a great experience but the cocktails were incredibly delicious!! We also were able to have their yummy snacks. Would highly recommend!! Can’t wait to come back soon!

We had an absolutely wonderful anniversary dinner here. we were seated on the private dining side, which just meant we were in a quieter part compared to the 'bar/outdoor' seating, which was lovely as it was a special occasion. Pablo the owner! was our waiter which I thought was an incredibly lovely and personal touch. He was hilarious, spend time with you, told the story of how Madam George came about. As an aucklander I loved hearing about the restaurants roots. Food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back and take friends and family. Was a lovely night.

Absolutely AMAZING dining experience at Madame George! We were treated like the only table in the restaurant with top notch service coupled with humorous banter from the staff. Nick made our experience very memorable with his fantastic attention to detail in his knowledge on dishes to try. I recommend Madame George highly for people who want a place to eat with atmosphere, good vibes and fun

Great spot in K road with unique flavours that represent Peruvian cuisine well. Service from the staff was amazing with them taking you through the menu and each line item and what their own favourites and recommendations are. Both our main waiter and I assume the owner/manager were great the whole night, the only person lacking was the guy topping up the water and drinks. He literally refilled other tables glasses right next to us and didn’t even bother filling our glasses up at all. We also realised we never got our chicharones order only once we got home since we ordered pretty much everything! Overall, I definitely recommend this spot especially if you want to try something different like we did. I would just bring a water bottle just in case you’re unlucky like us

The team at Madame George made the night special and the food was simple yet flavorful and rich. We had arrived late due to an incident on the way up from Pukekohe and the team were kind to delay the reservation. We give kind regards to Tim whom hosted majority of our course as well as the possible owner / Head host whose presence was of good light-hearted banter. Kid-friendliness: Comforting yet friendly. Engaging & put in the effort of knowing , recalling our names.

Absolutely epic dining experience! The best food I ate this year! Menu looks very humble but be ready to be amazed. As everyone mentions, the flavours are very thought through. The highlight was def the side for wagyu steak. Radicchio cooked with fava beans in miso sauce! I want to eat this every day! Pork belly aka chicharron was unreal! And I have never had so well cooked seafood. First time the muscles didn't taste like rubber. The owner has his heart and soul in it and you can feel it! Don't forget to get Pisco sour for the real Peruvian experience!

I had high expectations because the reviews were so great but I was a little disappointed. The service was extremely slow even though there were a lot of empty tables around, it kinda just felt like the servers had forgotten about us a lot. We didn’t get our mains until two hours into being there.. the food was amazing but I think the prices were far too high for the quantity! Even the vege dishes were extremely small. Not sure if I’d go back.

Delicioso! One of the best restaurants in Auckland by far. I organised a little reunion with 12 friends last night and the experience was the greatest from the start to the end. Without doubt, I highly recommend this place for a drink and yum Peruvian food. Gracias Pablo and the team for the lovely hospitality and the amazing food. I think Madame George has fantastic and very friendly service. I always appreciate when a popular restaurant finds space for people like me who don’t have a booking. Everything was all presented well, with fairly good ingredients. But for my personal taste I found most of it a little lacking in flavour. The tiradito, which is like sashimi with some kind of citrus-chilli sauce was ok but I think traditional Japanese sashimi does the fish better justice. The scallops anticuchos and pork chicharrones were both good, but also didn’t really pack a punch flavour-wise for me. The Peruvian seafood rice was basically just a Paella, which was also good but not great. I was with a friend having a light dinner after work, between us we spent $100 including a drink, so I think for a restaurant of this standard that’s pretty good value. If you’re a person who prefers more delicate flavours this is a good option.
