Verona

A Krd staple for well over 20 years, Verona is a boutiquey little cafe/bar with wooden booths, outdoor benches and chill vibes. The staff are hip yet friendly and there is always great music playing. You gotta stop by for at least one drink when visiting Tamaki Makaurau Auckland.

Nice place for a quick coffee or a cheeky beer. Friendly staff, clean and tidy.

I don't get out to the city much so my daughter took me to Verona for breakfast and coffee on Sunday which was a big treat for me, and we both were very impressed from start to finish. What a warm and inviting place, great music and interesting decor. I had the eggs bene which was delicious and beautifully presented, cooked exactly to my liking, on a beautiful homemade rye so hats off to the chef 10/10, and the customer service! From the moment we entered to the moment we left Cedric made us feel welcome by being warm, friendly and attentive and he went the extra mile by pointing out the bus routes so we could get to the zoo later. He also makes the best coffee I've had in years and i'm fussy about my coffee. Verona sets the standard in terms of customer service. hospitality done right! Well done Verona, we will be back and we will be telling all our friends.

Verona is an absolute K Rd institution. Hasn't changed in years and hopefully won't. Open till late with DJ playing most nights. Good range of beers, wines and cocktails. Excellent coffee. Food is unexceptional but always there when you need it probably the only place I go where they'll open the kitchen on request after it's closed. Super friendly staff and everyone is welcome.

The one guy who work they makes cold coffee maybe he need to be retrained how to make coffees. everone else who works there makes the best coffees. friendly plight like to talk to you and their food is amazing I recommend to go there for the food and coffeeFood: 5/5

Ordered eggs Benny for brunch today. They were slimy, transparent and clearly undercooked. I showed the staff member who tole me they would tell the chef. No apology or offer to make it right. Really disappointing. Give this place a miss.

Super nice flat white 4.5$ and the brownie 6$ was also nice. Realy nice and welcoming staff, highly recommended if you are looking for a place to sit down and have a coffee.

Stopped by after work for a celebration. Just keep an eye out for a couple of large tables outside. There are also quite a few tables at the back of the restaurant and it is quite roomy. We just had drinks and chips and both were quite nice. They have quite a range of drinks including beer, wine, and cocktails.

had the vegan chicken burger which was lovely, but HOLY the wedges man they're to die for, probably the best I've had up in Auckland, would return just for those! amazing service too :
