Chop Chop

Had lunch here and thought the food was good. Obviously the ramen is fusion style, so it has a couple of unique flavours. The beef brisket ramen was excellent. The Cobra Kai was OK but definitely had a substantial amount of toppings.

Wonderful little noodle house tucked away in a Ponsonby food court. We were lucky enough to get a table as it was packed. Sat at the counter opposite the two chefs and bartender working their magic. It is always a pleasant sight watching people in flow. They have a wide range of offerings from on the go street food to larger plates / bowls. We started off with the soft crab bun which light and full of flavor. I followed that up with the brisket ramen which was just the right amount of food. It tastes great without being overwhelmingly salty as ramen can be. They are generous with the amount if brisket provided which is always welcome. My SO had the vegetable salad with an add of salmon and that was great! The salmon made all of the difference, the quality of the fish in New Zealand is far superior to what we get stateside. If you're looking for an Asian quick bite packed with flavor, I highly recommend Chop chop noodle house.

Not a place for me - both beef brisket and cobra kai super mega ramen were so so. The corn fritter gave me a mouthful of flour-ish feeling, didn't bother to finish it. The only good thing was the dishes came fairly quick and in good temperature. Never again.

The Jerk Chicken and Cobra Kai ramen was tasty. The chicken wasn't overcooked and the favor melded into the broth quite nicely. The location was easy to find as well. The on tap cider was easy to drink and didn't overpower the ramen's denser flavor. The Mai Tai was great as well. They asked us about dietary restrictions right off the bat.

Just wow!!!! Fantastic style of seating surrounding the kitchen. Comfortable stools that have sufficient space to spread out a bit. Great menu of food and lots of drink choices. Friendly service and quick. Omg!!! The cheeseburger bun is amazing and the mega ramen.... just wow!!! Great price and highly recommend any time of the day!!!

I came there and ask if I can get Korean soup - Ramen type. Young lady hostesses told me that I need to consult the menu and gave me the menu…. Ok It was almost empty place, couple on corner and 3 people on the bench, app 20+ free places, so I have asked if I can go to the bench, and hostess was very negative, branch is ONLY for 3+ people, even if you stay 15 min even if the place is empty. So I went through the internet, after menu and got the soup Ramen. I asked to pay, they told me I need to approach to cash point, I went there and lady paid by my debit card, lady asked me if I would like to leave tips, I didn’t won’t for the the very bad service and hostess was disinterested, she was like walking robot confused by life in general, so lady make a grimace … The soup very tasty. So dear Chop Chop people if you want you place to be fitted with people try to be more polite to your guests, not to make grimaces and to charge 1,75% extra for debit card payments!

Been wanting to try here for awhile. Waited for like over 5 minutes by the sign and was left unattended. So we went in and talked to the waitress and eventually was seated. We ordered the pork, beef brisket and the jerk chicken ramen. But it did take a long time before we were being served. The food came after 10 to 15 minutes which was reasonable. The pork topping was not bad, the beef brisket was quite dry. The chicken was the best for me, the broth and the ramen noodle was quite good tasting. However, without naming who, I saw one of the staff touching raw chicken and then went to wash hands for a very short while then went and start doing other things. They were normally dealing with making donburis and bao bun which involves a lot of hand contact without gloves, this put me off by a lot as I have pretty high standard of food hygiene being a cook myself. Lucky the ramen was cooked by another person, but given service level and just average food, I will probably pass on coming back.

We love this place. There is something cool about it. Small comfy very warming atmosphere. Not loud even tho it is always full. Yummy food. Brisket Ramen is the best I have tried even tho it is not very authentic but i love it more this way. Coconut shake is amazing.. we already been there twice and will be back I think. Service is fast too

Bad customer service as the waiter burped loudly in our faces, other waitress came sneaking up behind and simply said pork bun not loud enough for my friend to hear. Food was decent with my wings having an abundant amount of oily spicy sauce and not enough meat. Cheeseburger bao mince tasted off and cheese was too oily and processed.

Always love the Ramen from here and as a regular customer, I can reccommend the food. A little confused as to why I only get served water on some occasions, but not others even when quiet. Miss the guy named Caleb who really gave it a warm, welcoming atmosphere too.
