Moretons Bar & Restaurant

Got an opportunity to try their new menu. Lamb Wontons lacked a bit of zing but the lamb filling has been like I've never seen before. Very full wontons. Try it with the hot sauce on table. Romesco with the prawns is to die for. Try finishing not while it's hot though. Lastly the risotto....one of the best I've had. Creamy and full with perfectly done fish. Definitely a hot item on the menu. Shout out to Mercedes for making sure our orders came out ok time and we were looked after during dinner.

My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch, little miss 5.5 was not only all smiles but very well looked after including sneaky chocolate delivery from the lovely Emilie who expertly serviced our needs.nAttentive, friendly and anticipating our every need, this girl needs a bar tab from the owners or at the very least a juicy slab of meat loaded with truffle butter!!nnA true pleasure of an experience with delightful food, service and even better views!

Our server was amazing however our fries were half frozen , my eggs Benedict had no presentation, vegetables or garnish and sauce straight from a tube pictured .. for $25+ this was insane and tasted of plastic — as well as this we had to return two coffees as they were made with off milk and were obviously curdled. We instead ordered Coke zeros as replacements to be on the safe side and were still charged for all four beverages. I’ve been coming here for years and felt utterly ripped off. Even more dissapointing when bringing a friend from overseas to show off beautiful st heliers .

Had a great brunch here for my friends birthday. Delicious food and coffee, presentation is beautiful, and the menu has great and unique options. Service was prompt and friendly too.nnWill definitely be back :

It was my first time at Moretons St Heliers and i really had a great time. We went on a Friday night - The food was good, the ambience was great. But what made it even more perfect was Banjo’s service even when the restaurant was packed, he attended to us really well! Would definitely come back!
