La Vista Cafe & Restaurant

Ideal spot for al fresco dining with a good view of the Bay. Baby friendly with high chairs and also dog friendly. Great service all round as we received a friendly greeting as well as efficient service from Liv. Food was good but eggs Benedict had minimal hollandaise sauce. Iced drinks were refreshing and perfect on a summer morning.

We came by for a team lunch. We were able to book and pre-order our meals so that we didn't have to wait too long after arriving. The restaurant was fairly large but it was quite full. They also had a nice outdoor area outside which has a moveable roof.nI grabbed the vegetarian risotto since they didn't have the vegetarian paella. The risotto was quite nice and different from other places with a medley of different vegetables in the creamy rice. The portions were quite good and the variety was interesting.

I was extremely happy with our time at La Vista! It was an all-around great experience. We stopped by later in the evening and ordered from the tapas menu. There are lots of classic dishes, and it was all very demure and tasteful. My favorites were the albondigas ground beef balls in Sofrito sauce and the crab & prawn arancini. They also had so many unique drinks available, which were as delicious as they were aesthetically pleasing.nnLa Vista gives a cozy yet rustic vibe. The candles and brick interior add to the atmosphere. Great lighting for photos, if I may add…

Really great big breaky with good service and a nice view of the beach from a pavement table. Perfect cappuccino. Very reasonable prices. A place I could eat every day.

Great place to enjoy some tapas style food over a cold beer/wine or a jug of sangria. Came here with 6 family members and we really enjoyed the comfortable seats, delicious food, sangria which we shared, and the helpful staff.nnComprehensive drinks menu - different styles of beer, local and international wines, house made sangria, cocktails, mocktails, something for everyone.nnWe enjoyed the sharing style nature of all the food. Ordered a couple platters to share and a few other dishes around this - everything was great. Loved the short rib, seafood chowder was popular , platters were great to share.nnWould definitely recommend La Vista as somewhere to come on a date, with friends or as a small group.nnIf you're with people who may be hard of hearing try get a table where you'll be sitting close. There's just enough background noise that it could make hearing conversations challenging for those with hearing aids.
