Absolute gem in Auckland!nFrom the moment we walked into La Vista, we felt incredibly welcomed. The staff is so warm and hospitable, they truly make you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous! I highly recommend trying their chicken salad and the pancakes — both were fantastic. Tapas is fun. Empanadas are excellent but some of the other dishes a bit average like pork belly just 3 lumps of fat. Patata bravas potato seems they used the wrong type of potato. Kind of expensive for what you get for most of the dishes. Nicer to get a window seat, deeper in the restaurant is crowded gloomy and noisy, couldn't hear each other at the table. Service was attentive and friendly.nWill go just for empanadas next time.

First time here. And wow, want a fantastic restaurant in St Heliers. The owners and staff are awesome - they went out of their way and created a special dessert for my friend who celebrated her birthday.nWe had brunch - the food is fresh and full of flavour. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I’m definitely coming back to La Vista.nIt’s a gem in Auckland and a perfect place to bring out-of-towners.

nnMy partner and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here! The seaside view was absolutely stunning, and we loved enjoying the evening breeze throughout our meal. The atmosphere was beautifully decorated with a romantic Valentine’s theme, which made the night feel extra special.nnEvery dish we tried was delicious. The eggplant salad was especially memorable—so distinctive and flavorful from the very first bite. The fish cake was also very tasty and perfectly prepared. The drinks we ordered, Fresh Summer and Spider, were both refreshing and well made. And of course, the paella was excellent—rich, authentic, and cooked to perfection.nnFor dessert, the tiramisu was a pleasant surprise. It wasn’t overly sweet, which made it even more enjoyable.nnOverall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we highly recommend this place for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious pork ribs — tender and full of flavor! The crème chicken pasta was rich and creamy. Great ambience, friendly staff, and excellent service. Would definitely come back!
