Best Customer service. Despite being late they continued to serve us. Food was great. Film was great.

It would have been a great experience as the theatre itself is quite pleasant but be warned it is freezing cold. I noticed this issue has been happening for some time and the staff response was "they are doing everything they can". Management if the aircon is playing up put a heater in there find solutions not excuses to problems it was hard to enjoy the movie when you are so cold. Be warned take a hot water bottle and a blanket if your watching a movie here.

We really appreciated the Team to let us use our grab one voucher despite the event of fire that took place just the day before. The electricity was off, making all the choices limited. We were still kindly welcomed and offered an alternative for the booked experience. Thank you for making such a great experience for us despite the unfortunate event . Kia kaha

Horribly stuffy in the foyer which made for an unpleasant start to the movie going experience. Air conditioning, if there is any available in the foyer, should be switched on when the humidity is high. Fortunately not too bad in the theatre.

Movie cinema was very comfortable. We just struck a night where they were short staffed & had to go out during the movie to remind we had not recieved our Pizza.

They have screwed our local cinema with stupid seats. Worst I’ve ever been to. Top it off with no heating so we both were freezing for 2 hrs. Will never return and I live 200m away in the Sentinel. Prefer to drive 30min and spend my money

Great cinema. We were able to rent out an entire theatre for a private screening. Good value for money and nice comfy chairs and couches

Don't buy a grab one deal. Very unorganized. They forgot to bring any food as sold in the offer. LOL. Also toilets super unclean.

So disappointing. Tried to book tickets this morning and the website was broken. First off, the website wouldn't let me pay for the tickets and when I pressed the 'pay' button the website wouldn't take me to the next page. The tickets then expired and I had to start the process all over again. Low and behold, the website decides to completely break and now it wont even let me select seats for any movies or dates. Tried on three different computers and two phones and had the same problem on all five !! devices. I called them three times, no answer. Found out on here though through previous reviews that they don't open until 15 minutes before the first movie. Which is unfortunate as I tried to book at 10am and the first movie today is at 4.45pm. Looks like I wont be giving Monterey Cinemas my money as this is terrible customer service, website maintenance and poor contact details as I literally could not speak to someone about a fixing the website and b booking my tickets! Absolute joke.

Last night I went to watch a movie in a refrigerator. Even though it's the middle of winter the air-conditioning was pumping out freezing cold air, I raised this with the attendant but he said it was an ongoing issue and that the building owner was the one responsible. I get that he may not have had the ability to turn it off or warm it up but if this was my place of work I would be all over the landlord to ensure that people weren't freezing while trying to watch a movie, it was so cold I almost left the movie. If management from Monterey see this, contact your landlord and insist they sort the "ongoing situation" with the air-conditioning as it is affecting your business!
