What a team! I have now had a couple of visits to Midas Albany and I am a dedicated customer! They are a lovely bunch of gentleman. Not only did they come and help me unload all my baby gear out of my car to put into a loan car, they helped me put it all back as well as my grocery shopping i did while my car was being serviced. To top it off, the cost came under quote! I don't think that has ever happened to me at a mechanics before! thank you to all the lovely gentleman at Midas Albany, ill be back :Services: Brakes
After sharing many positive reviews I knew that this day had to come. Previously I’ve had my car repaired by Midas 2021 and all was well - reason to come back. Worse part for me is that the owner argued with on the phone and charge me over price for a air filter , service everything in one year of the previous service . Although I had the receipt from previous service bills. with a time stamp on it Not friendly people . very disrespectful . when it comes to pay i paid through afterpay which clearly state on the store no interest fees . However the owner had a cheek to say that that cost extra fees to use that as merchant . i own the shop aswell and there is no extra fees for anything using laybuy ,after pay or other ones if the merchant is registered. well i ask for the the surcharge terms and conditions he start getting aggressive and very angry . Reason not to come back... so I won’t be coming back to Midas anymore. Big No Be Careful and think wisely before going there

Awesome team.took my car to them and because I had some engine lights come on and my car lost turbo,when the guy showed me wat the problem was I was shocked!it did cost alot at the end but they do Afterpay and I was happy bout thatthe owner and staff are friendly and know wat they doing.Thanks guysServices: Auto engine diagnostic
Robin and the team at Midas Albany are always super helpful whenever I come around. They have been servicing my car for over 8 years now and every interaction with them has been positive. I must say Robin is a super polite and helpful man - he really understands the urgency of situations and I can tell he really cares to help. In the past they've given me courtesy cars and sometimes even dropped me off to my work place when it was a quick fix. I would highly recommend my local mechanic - always been there to help me and never let me down.
First time and last. I was charged 1000 NZD for a simple oil change + filter and spark plugs of a Toyota Vanguard. Not only, that but the two main issues the car had were not fixed. It’s unbelievable. Don’t even waste your time selecting the service you want from their website, they will arbitrarily charge you for the service.
