I have visited this AA centre with my dad before and I remember very clearly how well the lady assisted us. I recently went again a few days ago, and to my surprise, I was fortunate enough to have landed with the same lady that assisted me and my dad before. Her friendly vibe radiated through the whole room and her welcoming personality made my experience much much better. Not to mention how fast and efficient her work is. Thank you Cathy for your excellent customer service, you are a gem. Will definitely be back next time!

We went to renew my husband's driving license last Friday, very efficient, it took less than 30 minutes to finish.  Helpful and patient staff, thank you Cathy and Maureen.  Keep up

Wish there's zero star option, there's 1 lady doing both AA membership/license plate matter and driver license conversion matter, which was fine, fully understood they had staff shortage.  Problem was that they allowed 3 new customers for AA membership/license plate to cut the line so the customer for license conversion had to wait for a long time at least 45 mins, and they only stopped that after I came up to the counter and made a complaint. To be very frank, it's not rocket science, there should have been an order in place which is called fairness, and people would understand it for sure.  Absolutely awful experience with AA as usual.  Just would like to add some further comments after reading their response, which is again very disappointing, they simply do not understand what the problem is, there should be an order in place like the zip, those AA membership and plate registration cutting the line indeed took much longer than the license conversion anyway, hence, your justification is simply an excuse, furthermore is it reasonable to allow 3 consecutive new customers to cut the line? Really that hard to understand?

Fantastic service from Kala and the team at a very thought time for a close friend of mine. The team went out of their way to accommodate him and got everything sorted. Can not recommend the team at AA Westgate high enough. Absolutely brilliant

Took a friend of mine into get his licence last week and he was treated incredibly rude by the manager Carla there. Well her staff members were trying to help the situation and give solution she refused to let them help. In the end she tried to say she had the power to make sure he never got another chance to get his licence. All other staff were as helpful as they could possibly be well being instructed by their boss not to help.

Extremely rude and unprofessional service from a slim brown lady who didn't wear her name badge properly and works on Saturdays and maybe on other days. Went to get my licence renewed, the eye test machine was quite apparently broken or the lady hadn't set it up properly. I told her this and she insisted the machine was fine. Also her demeanour was condescending and arrogant throughout the whole interaction, just trying hard to make me register for AA membership. Went to an optometrist a couple of days later and my eyes were perfectly fine 6/5. Had to waste my time and $95.

I would have given negative if I have the option. It’s really frustrating visiting any AA branch during Saturday. I’ve been there to convert my overseas licence. Some of the staff don’t even know what are the acceptable documents and they are mainly focused to sell the AA membership. I’m an AA member and will definitely won’t extend my membership and also, thinking to cancel my vehicle insurance with AA. They let me wait for more than 3 hrs to just to say NO. Pathetic service

My 70 year old mother went to have her driver's license renewed and received appalling service to the point that she was still shaken and upset about the ordeal hours later.  The woman serving her a opened with a forceful sales pitch for AA membership which only stopped when it was clarified my mother had joined with someone else, bwas lacking in training and could not properly communicate instructions to the point that another staff member had to intervene to clarify actions to my mother, c was condescending to the point of rudeness and when my mother became flustered due to her confusion became more pressing and hyper-authorative. For example making her sign multiple times over and over until her signature ' matched better' with the signature on her previous license - which she had already verified and accepted.  Overall the experience was one of verbal harassment and over whelming unprofessionalism. I would like to be contacted by management regarding this incident, and for the person in question to receive proper training.

Had the most helpful woman serve me around lunchtime today. She took the initiative to check everyone's queries while they were queuing up, to make sure they were in the right place/had everything they needed before they got to the counter, to ensure their process was smooth. Before coming to AA Westgate I had been at VTNZ Takanini which had no power, AA Manukau where I was queuing for an hour with no help for those of us waiting in line. If you had a question about anything you'd have to queue up to ask! I didn't even make it to the counter after an hour, so I left and decided to come to AA Westgate as a last resort instead. What a relief to turn up to a lovely clean store with plenty of parking, helpful and confident staff, well sign-posted waiting areas, and to be done in 30mins. Absolute best service I've had in a very long time. If only I lived locally, I'd come here for whatever I could!

Don’t waste your time there typical AA, go somewhere else for any services if you can but AA, or you would highly likely have to wait for a long long time for your turn, the ridiculous part is that they allow multiple new people to continuously jump ahead of the queue even if existing customers have been waiting for a long time, their operation approach is very inconsiderate, ignorant and chaotic with zero logic.  Google should provide negative star, or at least 0 star as an option.
