Beautiful concrete animals to play around on. The slids are very safe. It was an excellent park for my toddler to run around. Bike friendly!
I visited this park for the first time since moving cities when I was a toddler and it's just as good as I remember. I remember coming here with my dad on special occasions when we drove out towards the coast. This park has a special place in my heart if I'm honest. Located right next to the beach, it's an awesome spot to come with the whole family on a day out. It's a perfect playground for kids to play and use their imagination, with the iconic dinosaur slide as well as the pretend road setup for biking around on. Overall, an amazing playground!
Good place to take the children to play with a reasonable selection of things for them to do.nThey also have a very good bike park for children to learn to ride and learn different road rules with the different signs and traffic lights set up.nThey have toilets available on site and sometimes there is different vendors selling foods and drinks just outside the park.
Wonderful memories 40+ years ago as a kid who left for Australia aged 12, had the pleasure to take my own kids many years later on vacation, had hardly changed thank goodness, still as dodgy then as now... long may it continue.
Cool place. Been 50 years since last there. Great improvements. Some old items need refurbishing but please don't remove them. Take a ride on the train as well. Nostalgic. Brought back memories of my youth playing there.
