One of the best hostel in the world seriously it is ranked as onennthe pods design are great, all facilities are kept clean and looking nice and new.nnI stayed here almost every time I visit Auckland for my solo-trips: cost-wise, everything is in great conditions, simple nice design, and easy to book. I stayed once in a double room with my mum when we were travelling for leisure purposes, almost everything CBD is within walks for 10-15mins.nnI gave a close look at the trips on offer at the hostel counter there’s heaps of options too. We didn’t try during our trip but they all look pretty good.nnThis place also host multiple fun events for people who stay there, I keep noticing those info on they notice board, all looking fun and I wish I could join and have a nosy.nnGreat stay especially for young travellers or solo travellers.

Hands down the best hostel I've ever been to! Different entertainments every night in the hostel bar, where they also serve good food and drinks. Hairdresser and massages, sports activities in the mornings. An absolutely spotless,fully equipped kitchen, impeccably clean rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.nOnly about 400 mtrs from the central bus station and city centre.nIt simply ticks all the boxes!

Just got back from a quick two-day trip to Auckland and stayed at LyLo. Such a smooth and easy experience. The space was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a short stay. What really stood out was the staff — due to a last-minute delay with my incoming flight, they helped set me up with an extended stay without any hassle. Super accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend if you’re after a convenient, budget-friendly option right in the heart of the city.

Had an amazing time at Lylo hostel. Lovely rooms, great space for chilling, restaurant really nice too.nnBig shout out to Simon, I booked a two month camper van with him. He made me feel so much better about my time in New Zealand and excited to see it all now! Thanks again.

It was great but I could not sleep 4 out of 6 nights because one of my roommates had the fan on her bed on the whole night. Those fans are way too loud and they don’t even help with the ventilation in the pod. My room was also next to the bathroom and the walls are not very thick so you can hear everything especially at night.
