LyLo Auckland

The room has no window, no hanger except 2 wall knobs. No table. On the washroom, no amenities provided even soap. Nothing. Understand it supposed to be a budget/youth hostel, but it is just below basic.

rooms were so nice and not super busy which was nice. we stayed in a mixed 8 person room and there was only ever a total of 4 people including us. Lovely clean-feeling beds and super cozy to sleep. Good central location, but not really sure if its good bc we didnt find much to do in auckland. kitchen was an absolute mess and there were bugs all over the food, but what can you do - its a pretty average hostel experience.nGood price though! and staff were lovely

I never leave reviews on here but I felt like I needed to leave something for here. I absolutely loved my stay at LyLo. I stayed in an 8 pod shared dorm. It was affordable, I felt safe, I really liked how you had your own little private space with the pod and a well sized locker to boot. I hate being out in the open in rooms with strangers, but I also needed to stay in central on a budget, so it was perfect. I also booked it super last minute due to my other accommodation not working out, and it was super easy to book online and check in on the same day. I will be coming back here again. i really loved to stay in a private room there last august.n1. the staff were very kind and friendly.n2. the location was good enough to walk to many nice tourism sitesn3. the room was very clean and cozy.nni would stay again if i visit auckland again. it is pretty late to write a review since i checked out there 1 year ago but i would like to strongly recommend to stay there :-
