Lone Star Alexandra Park

Came for lunch. Meals were served quickly. Nice flavours. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall a very pleasant experience. I received a fantastic surprise for my birthday from Lone Star. A free pavlova. Thank you so much.

Lone Star isn’t the same as we remembered. At least when my husband and I dined there last year, we were impressed by both the portion sizes and the flavours. But when we visited again yesterday, we were thoroughly disappointed. The portion sizes, the flavours, and even the freshness of the ingredients were all lacking. I understand that the rising costs of ingredients and labour mean that restaurants have to cut costs. But for a place that claims to be an “American-style” restaurant, putting everything else aside, the portion sizes we were served would only be considered child-sized in the US.

First time here. Good service, pleasant staff, nice new setting, good food- thanks.nTo be picky, the bacon in my burger was overcooked/tough, the burger was placed on a napkin on a round wooden board which, half way through eating, ended up soggy and disintegrating into the meal while it looked good it was not practical

Wonderful service! We ordered Lassoo of Hog and we couldn't eat it at all due to the pork's strong smell. The waitress heard us and helped change it to another dish. BB King Ribs are much better, and the meat is tender. What we love the most is the Prawn Star which is super delicious. Good environment.

Amazing experience and service.nnMy friends and I went here and the waiter Ray was his name I think was amazing! We all have varying disabilities and dietary restrictions and he was accommodating, very friendly and communication was clear when confirming our orders and letting us know the answers to our questions.nnThe food was amazing, steak cooked perfectly and everything came pretty fast, which was surprising considering it was a Saturday evening.nnWould definitely recommend this place, however do consider the price but for special dinners once every now and again it is definitely worth it!!!
