The Garden Shed

What a delightful brunch. The ambience is great, it is a beautiful garden with some tables. The attention to detail is top notch. For example the fries come in a pot plant. The food is good, well seasoned and a is a good portion. Also, they are pet friendly. It was great to have our furry friend lunching with us. She loved the ambience and was constantly attracted to a few sparrows that were sneaking in on empty tables to steal a few bytes.

We were a table of 4, we ordered 2 starters to share, the fried chicken and squid, a main each and 3 desserts, smores, chocolate pot and two of us shared a sticky date pudding as it was quite large.nTo drink, we shared 2 carafe of mulled wine.nWe were very well fed. The food came at a good pace, we didn't feel like they were trying to rush us out. We had a voucher for one free main.nThe bill came to $260 with one main taken offnI'm still thinking of the chocolate pot.nWill be back.nThe surroundings were nice too. Parking is where you can find it in side streets

Great Experience, me and my husband wanted to grab a lunch and we saw this place , it was appealing from outside however when we went inside there was an amazing atmosphere at the back , surrounded by nature and the food was delicious extremely delicious, the attendant quickly grabbed our order and brought our drinks , raspberry lemonade was little sweet and rose lemonade was less sweet but both refreshing then came Bruchetta which was sardough bread with tomatoes and vinegar and chocolate drizzled down, then we got our lunch mains . Lamb was so soft and perfectly cooked with fresh rosemary flavours my mouth was watering, each potato was crispy from the corners and soft inside and great with the mint sauce the original menu had beef sauce but on my request they replaced it with mint my husband had the chicken burger and chips and he had a garlic sauce which tasted so delicious. By the end of it we were so full and satisfied , mouth full of flavours and less then $100 for two people, we felt like we had a date lunch.nToilets were clean, parking can be done at front or on the side of shops or near by areas , being in a busy area it takes 10-15mins to find best parking spot.

Great place to hang out with friends, especially at the back of the restaurant. Good service, staffs there are polite and hard working. Though one person looked after all the customers at the back, he provided good service with a smile. Well done. We have ordered the garlic prawns pasta, lamb shoulder, Miso beetroots carrots and crispy squids. The mains are great, except the squids. The batter is a bit too much, that's the downside. Overall, still worth to go.

We held a baby shower brunch in the Garden area for 15. The atmosphere was pure magic, it felt like a secret garden. We took many beautiful photos of beautiful food and great memories.nnService was very good, everyone got what they ordered. A 20min delay when we arrived due to delays with the last party packing up, I would book for 12:30 rather than 12 if I did it again.nnFood was lovely, presentation on point. Smore's were very cool. We had fun exploring the drinks list. My vegetarian friend was very happy with her meal.nn$20 deposit pp was cited for group booking, which I dutifully collected from my guests, but payment of an individuals balance on the day could have got pretty messy for guests as they left, because the system wants payment for specific items, rather than payment of a arbitrary amount towards an overall bill. Thankfully the manager knew the system well and could make it work.nnOverall, myself and my guests had a wonderful time and will happily recommend the Garden Shed as a gorgeous little jewel of Mt Eden.
