Had a great dinner with our group of five adults, one child, and one infant. The food was awesome, and the service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everything came out nicely, and we all had a great experience. Definitely recommend and would happily come back!

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at The Garden Shed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. My theme was “Blooming into 40”, and I wanted a setting filled with garden charm, greenery, and floral vibes. The Garden Shed was the perfect choice, with its beautiful ambience and cozy atmosphere providing a stunning backdrop for the celebration.nFrom the very beginning, Nixon responded promptly to my email enquiry, and we met within a couple of days. I had a clear vision for my party, and Nixon went above and beyond to not only meet but exceed my expectations. Ash was also incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. We had several meetings with the decorators and for different arrangements, and the team was always accommodating and supportive.nThe food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that were more than enough for all our guests. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the cocktails, which perfectly complemented the theme. One of the highlights was that Nixon allowed us flexibility with the party timing and accommodated having both a DJ and a live singer on site, which truly brought my dream celebration to life.nOn the day itself, the staff were attentive, helpful, and ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing me to relax and enjoy the evening with my family and friends.nI honestly couldn’t have imagined celebrating my birthday any other way. I am more than satisfied with the entire experience and would like to extend a special thank you to Nixon for accommodating all my wishes and making my milestone birthday so memorable. A fantastic spot, especially on a sunny day. They offer a brunch menu on weekends and a lunch selection during the week. I really enjoyed the potato rosti—it was crispy and paired well with the eggs benedict and bacon. While the flavors were excellent, the portion size was a bit on the small side. Service was efficient and friendly.

We dined here as a first table booking, and the waiter was upfront in letting us know there would be approximately a 40-minute wait for the food, which we appreciated. Our drinks arrived promptly, about three minutes after ordering.nnOur entrées were served 43 minutes after ordering. We had the tiger prawns and the bruschetta. The tiger prawns were excellent, with a delicious sauce that was the standout of the dish. The bruschetta was decent—nothing particularly memorable, but still enjoyable.nnOur mains arrived 1 hour and 7 minutes after we placed our order. We ordered the eye fillet, prawn linguine, and salmon. Unfortunately, the eye fillet was quite chewy, the prawns in the linguine were overcooked, and the salmon was average.nnOverall, the dining experience was disappointing due to the long wait and the quality of the main courses. That said, the staff were friendly, approachable, and provided good service throughout our visit.
