If you like NZ green lipped mussels then this is the place for you. I enjoyed 1kg of steamed mussels in a coconut curry and lemon grass. It was delicious. The mussels were fresh and plump. Others at the table tried the blue cheese and spinach, and creamy white wine and garlic, and were equally impressed. I would suggest that they offer some crusty bread to soak up the sauces/broth… one of our part had the fish and chips which was a little disappointing by NZ fish and chip standards. Overall, the ambiance is ok. A tavern style bistro, not flash but authentic! A very nice afternoon had by all.

This establishment offers a remarkable selection of beers, with a particular emphasis on their acclaimed Belgian varieties. While the quality of the beer was exceptional, the ambiance and the staff's professionalism were equally impressive. Huge respect for Anton for the evening

Thank you for leaving such a disappointing last impression of our time in New Zealand.nnWe came here on the last day of our trip to New Zealand for dinner with my mother. I visited this restaurant last year with friends and had a great experience so I wanted to come back for what we hoped would be a nice final meal of our trip.nnUnfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.nWhen we walked in, there were two female staff members who were chatting with each other and did not acknowledge us at all. After we sat down, someone eventually brought us a menu, but no one came to take our order for a long time.nnThe restaurant was not busy at all. The staff were mostly on their phones and continuing their conversation with each other. At one point, I even made eye contact and gestured to get their attention, but no one came over.nnAfter waiting for quite a while with no service, we decided to leave.nIt’s really unfortunate that what was supposed to be our final dinner of the trip turned out like this.

We have found a new spot to replace Mission Bay. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. The same tasty food & good drink.

Wow this place is fantastic. The vibe is amazing and the selection of Belgian beers is wide . The food was just delicious and I cannot fault it . Next time I’m in Auckland this is in the top of my list .
