Local Doctors - Weymouth

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service we experienced on Saturday 17/08 evening by the closing Receptionist after coming in for abdominal pain. Earlier in the day we had a great experience with the nursing staff, who were helpful and compassionate. When we returned to the clinic as advised, there was no one at the reception desk for several minutes and patients waiting to be served, she had no sense of urgency or basic customer service skills upon returning. She was extremely rude and we ended up leaving after being turned away by her. We understand how difficult it can be with limited staff but speaking rudely to patients only makes it worse. Receptionist Leai really needs to work on her customer service and change her tone when speaking to people. That interaction with reception is the first point of contact for any patient that walks through any clinic and determines their overall journey. Do better or find better receptionists who won’t leave patients feeling disgruntled and going elsewhere.

I am writing to expressnmy disappointment with the appointment scheduling at the Local Doctor Clinic. Every time I have scheduled an appointment, there have been significant delays. Recently, I visited the clinic with a fever, and despite having a scheduled time, I had to wait much longer than expected. This lack of punctuality is very frustrating and needs to be addressed. Patients rely on timely appointments, especially when they are unwell. I hope the clinic can improve its scheduling process to ensure that patients are seen on time.

Very unpleasant family experience at my own workplace especially from a non clinical stuff. I hope the management will look into it.. The old islander lady/receptionist as referred to by so many unhappy patients

Clinic gets busy and it's understandable that it's ok to get sick just like we do. I did like the service here but we have to be patient and understand that staff can get sick especially being around sick ppl whole day and they can get under staff due to that. They also need break and can get tired.. putting a smile always even though your day isn't going too good is not easy. Waiting time have no control in walk in clinics and i guess we should already know that when we visit walk in clinics. You guys are doing great job guys.. keep up with that

Amazing nurses there, looked after me very well, I Got cut on my hand with knife last night but they looked me after and put dressing, and injection straight away no waiting time. 10 starts to lovely nurses
