I found the fish wasnt fresh, the chips & crabstick tasted stale, $7 chips seemed like $3 scoop, a total rip, the sausage wasnt that bad but overall based on the positive reviews it wasn't really an enjoyable experience.

Friendly service. Smell of old oil whenever chippy fired up was gross. Small portions of chips for the price and they were dry and didn't taste fresh. Fish didn't seem fresh and batter was chewy. I suspect that because our visit was in mid March that the oil was not getting changed enough at end of tourist season. Great location. Burger underwhelming.

Fish was crispy, tasted fresh, the oil was clean and all the food was yum. The food was also very affordable and has become one of my favourite fish and chips shop.nnThe service was good as they let us order 2 wontons instead of the set half dozen and they stayed open a later than their specified google hours to make our food.

Wonderful little fish and chip shop on Waiheke. Food is always lovely and fresh & staff are super friendly. For the island, good value for what you pay and I would 100% recommend the fish & hotdog on a stick. Burgers are not too bad.
