Kohi Fresh Fish & Takeaways

The Fish & Chips are amazing. The pieces of fish are huge and melts in your mouth. They also sell deep fried spring rolls, Curry puffs, doughnuts and much more. They sell fresh fish fillets too. Excellent service and the staff were so friendly. Parking right outside.

Unfortunately not a good experience. Worst bit of fish we have ever had. Under cooked batter and bones in the fish and I don’t think the fish was fresh frozen maybe they can confirm this. Sorry guys just being honest. Chips and sauce were good, potato fritter agin under cooked batter and way to thick and heavy.

Fresh and Delicious fish. I was lucky to be there when there wasn’t a queue. Owners were so friendly and welcoming, they took time to explain the types of fish available that day. I ordered two portions of orange roughy deep fried in crumbs, absolutely delicious. Will definitely visit when I’m back.

Really nice fish and chips. Super crispy crumbed fish and tasted super fresh. Wish it was a little bit saltier and that they had vinegar that I could put onto my chips. But otherwise yummy.

I recommend this place ! Best Fish and Chips in Auckland in my opinion. We always get take out and eat on the beach since it’s just next to it. We always take the snapper. We usually take our own sauces and drinks but there is everything available in the store. It’s great cause you can also buy your own fish filet.
