Got the ribs combo. The sauce on the ribs was actually quite tasty, but the meat was super tough and dry. Portion size was generous.nnChips was alright but also pretty salty.nnOverall disappointed since the meat quality was poor.nnNo cutlery and napkins were given.

Called up Cliff Grill as soon as I seen one video online. My family ordered the $165 for Christmas day and let me tell you..it was amazing that everything on this tray taste and smell so good. I dont usually post reviews but I had to with this. All the meat was so tender and the fried onions was so tasty. Nothing was soggy and the sauces elevates the food to a whole new level. We will definitely order again. We didnt think that we would finish it but we were demolishing everything. Thank you for a yummy platter.

“Disappointing visit after previously great experiences.”nnWe had friends visiting from Hamilton who were excited to try the proper South African crumbed mushrooms we’d enjoyed here before. Unfortunately, this visit really fell short.nnWe arrived right at 12:30 when the store opened, but the customer service was poor. While we were trying to order, the staff member kept looking at his phone, didn’t make eye contact, and didn’t seem interested in helping. After taking our order, he told us there would be a 45-minute wait. When we asked how that was possible at opening, he said online orders took priority.nnWhen the food arrived, the crumbed mushrooms were completely different from before — darker/black mushrooms instead of the usual white button ones. They were dry and chewy, nothing like the proper South African style we’ve had here previously. The ribs were also dry and chewy.nOn the positive side, the calamari was tender and very well cooked.nnOverall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since we’ve had consistently good food in the past and wanted to share that with our friends.
