Indy's Curry Pot

Indy is a pleasure to know and experience and the Sri Lankan styled food and themed restaurant was by far the best Indian food I’ve had in my life. I can’t wait to go back for more of this.

Maybe the most authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in NZ. Took us right back to being in Lanka. Indy's got plenty of talent showcased by an impressive CV working in Auckland's top restaurants. Glad he's following his passion and representing SL cuisine so well.nSome highlights to try are the devilled squid, mutton rolls and seafood kothu.nMostly a takeaway spot but there is a small table to sit down and eat there if you need.

Found this place randomly on Maps and given all of the good reviews, we wanted to try it out.nnWe were very happy that we did! They only do take-away, but they were kind enough to let us eat at the counter. The fried chicken was juicy and the curry was really tasty and lighter than most curries. It’s not made with ghee, so it doesn’t make you feel too full.nnBut the best thing we ate was the kotta! I highly recommend it!nnThe owners were very kind and welcoming!

Some of the most authentic Sri Lankan food I've ever had! Delicious, the chicken in the lumprais was so tender. Goat + fish curry were fantastic too. Generous portions to top it off!
