Les Mills New Lynn

Would not recommend this gym.nGot verbally abused by someone in the middle of the gym, made me so upset and scared for my safety and my younger sisters who also goes there. Took a lot to go and speak to a staff member about it who was very understanding. This women has had multiple altercations with other members, and a member has already left because of them. I expected them to cancel her membership. Instead I got a phone call today from a staff member “David” who disregarded the situation, played it down by saying “it didn’t look that bad” in the cameras, if it wasn’t “that bad” I wouldn’t of been hysterically crying and afraid to return. He said they would give her a warning but won’t remove her as other altercations hadn’t been verified because they were worried something would happen. This should be enough of an alarm bell, if other people are too afraid why on earth would they allow her to stay there? He has basically said it’s acceptable to have this kind of behaviour at the gym since no consequences will be made other than a warning. This is completely unacceptable, and they have lost 2 members today because of it. This women has already recorded people and posted on her social media without consent with nasty comments. It is so wrong and I am so disappointed in the outcome. This gym is unsafe for other females like me who may have to encounter this women and her behaviour. I loved this gym for its equipment, size and had built relationships with a lot of the members. I joined this gym because it’s supposed to be one of the best options in Auckland being a Les mills. This situation has extremely let me down.

A great gym!nEquipment is always clean, plenty of classes and gym equipment to choose from.nThe staff are always friendly and greet you.nVery well run and provides a high quality gym experience.

Big thanks to all the amazing staff at Les Mills New Lynn! Everyone is always so kind and helpful. The gym is always super clean, and the equipment is in great condition. It’s such a nice place to work out!

Awesome gym. The guy with red hair at the front desk is super friendly and helpful and is quite respected amongst the customers.
