Nice Korean restaurant in Flatbush. Kimchi stew and pork are really nicely seasoned and cooked. One meal is about $24 including rice and small plates.
very disappointed dining experience here. We ordered a soy paste beef soup and another dish but the beef soup is totally different with the pic on their menu, only three pieces beef in the soup and the left are Chinese cabbage leaves. It is very dishonest and feel been cheated. The portion is very small, but the price increased a lot.nnOur family are regular customers here since it was opened in 2018. At the beginning, the owner was a korean family mum and daughter, the foods quality and portion are very good, then Covid coming, we didn't see the original owner but another korean family, then the taste became not so good, and because of the Covid, not went to the resturant regularly. Recently, we back to the resturant, found all staffs changed to Chinese staffs, and their food portion and quality dropped a lot, but the price increased a lot.nnWe are happy to support local businessbut not the one without honesty and fool its customers. very disappointed Wont recommend to anyone
When we arrived for our booking, there was a shortage of seating. Staff had to re-arrange other diners to spare up seats for our group. Not ideal so a suggestion to this establishment is to have spare seats in storage for situations like this.nnIn light of the above, the subsequent service was fine. The food was delicious and was great value for approx $25-$30 NZD per person. Free refills on the side dishes.nnThe seafood pancake had big prawns!nnThe pork bone soup was perfect to share for a large group.
Clean and tidy decor, with adequate parking outside. I would recommend the pork bone soup. The medium size was more than enough for sharing between two people. Really good flavours and they even offer to refill your side dishes without asking. Excellent service and will be back to try other dishes
Few weeks ago, ordered the army stew was extremely disappointed. Few sliced canned lunch hams, few pics sausage and salami and a little bit canned beans, 1/2 bag instant noodles, these cheap ingredients, which charged us $59. Not worthy the money!!! And the portion is very small!!! We thought maybe we didn't order the right dish, would like to try one more time. This time we ordered the soy stew beef soup and spicy squid, the price increased $3 for each compared few weeks ago, but the portion and quality dropped a lot. Maybe the current owner and staffs thought customers are idiot and easy to be fooled. Extremely disappointed! Will never come back! Never recommend to anyone. If u love Korean food, there are heaps options in Auckland, don't waste ur money here.
