nnAbsolutely solid Korean food. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and very delicious. The flavors felt authentic and comforting, and the portions were satisfying. You can really tell care goes into the food.nnThe dishes came out hot and full of flavor, and every bite was enjoyable. A great place if you’re craving proper Korean food.nnMy friends loved it so much..!!nnDefinitely worth visiting I would happily come back again. Highly recommended!
This is the first time I visited this place after they changed last year.nnIt was really busy when we visited so we had to wait a bit for the table and the service is not as attentive - for examples: they had forgotten to give us water jug or cutlery, and we had to help ourselves to these.nnThe food is great and authentic, we had beef rib soup, stir fry pork galbi and they have the best bibimbap that I have ever tried!!nnPortion size is smaller than before but adequate 3 mains for 2 adults and 1 child, if you have all adults with good appetite, you might need to order extra side dishes.nnThe overall restaurant atmosphere is spacious and clean. Will revisit this place again and try other dishes.
We recently dined at New Soul Korea restaurant and had a great experience overall. We ordered the sweet and spicy chicken as well as the stir-fried pork, and both dishes were full of bold, authentic Korean flavours. The sweet and spicy chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and generously coated in a sticky, well-balanced sauce that had a nice kick without being too overwhelming. It hit that perfect spot between savoury and sweet. The stir-fried pork was also a standout, with tender slices of meat cooked in a rich sauce and served with fresh vegetables that added both crunch and balance to the dish.nnThe portions were quite generous, and we left feeling full and satisfied. The presentation of the dishes was clean and appealing, and the service throughout our visit was polite and efficient. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the food came out relatively quickly despite the restaurant being fairly busy.nnOne thing to note is that the prices are a little on the higher side, especially when compared to more casual Korean eateries. However, given the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience, it still felt worth it. The restaurant itself is modern and cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it suitable for both casual meals and small group gatherings.nnParking was not an issue at all — there’s ample parking nearby which made getting in and out very easy, especially for a busy area like Botany. All in all, it is a great spot for those looking to enjoy well-executed Korean comfort food with a bit of flair.
I dined here recently with my sister. I had the Fish Roe Stew, while she went for the chips and fried shrimp. I found my dish quite delicious, though my sister thought hers was a bit too salty, as she's used to low-sodium meals. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which added to the atmosphere. Prices are slightly higher than other spots in the area, but the quality of the food makes it worthwhile.
Tonight will be our visit! Look how they served the kimchi soup with pork, only HALF full of the bowl and only two of pork inside! I literally thought this is other table’s leftover! Very disappointing for $25!nHad been visited Daamso for years but eversince they changed name to New Seoul everything changed. wont come back again
