Dak Hanmari Korean BBQ

It's been my third time to eat at this place. It's always been a satisfying experience for me. You can just call to book a table. I love the choices of meats and seafood. My son loved the lamb slices. I love their sikhye. It's refreshing especially if you have been eating with the spicy sauces. Their choicea of cooked food is also great. Place is always packed regardless of occasion. Toilet is clean. Current price per person is $43.50. I think when I first came here it was just $37. Will still be back.

A really great Korean BBQ place! Would love to come again!nnBeen to a few K-BBQs and this is among the most memorable! The meat and food were presented nicely, and the venue was very clean. A good selection of meats, great for a group setting! Was also really pleased with the Sikhye sweet rice punch, perfect to balance the food! They also offer a wide range of hot foods which includes fried chicken, spicy rice cakes tteokbokki, and traditional Korean Japchae noodles, in case you get hungry while cooking the meats!nnThe service was really quick, and the staff are quick to clear plates and change the grills.nnWe visited on a Monday evening and it was still busy, so it’s definitely worth booking just to be sure!nnPricewise, it’s might seem a little steep $43.50 per person but the quality, and all-you-can-eat nature makes it stand out against other K-BBQ places.nnParking in front of the venue is limited, but there is free public parking on the opposite side of the road. Takapuna also has decent public transport options.

First time doing this style of food.nIt seems odd that we have all this food for as long as you can eat it!nWe experimented with frying noodles. It didn't go well, avoid that.nThe meat was tender when cooked to medium rare and you have different protein choices to cook, from beef to sea food.nLamb was very good.nUse different plates to carry meat and veges, bring it back to the cooker with some sauces and rice and you can create your own stir fry.

I would recommend this cozy place for Korean BBQ. For NZ$40 per person, I would say the Korean BBQ is very worth it. It’s about 15 mins drive from Auckland City Centre, and easily accessible. The customers there are mainly asians. They serve a pretty good selection of meat, simple selections of fruits and cake. The prawns are frozen, and is still quite ok.nnThere provided free flow of ice water and hot, and you can purchase other drinks at the front desk. Their ice barley if I am not wrong is very refreshing! Love it.nnThe place is pretty crowded as the tables are close together, so you may need to be carefully when moving around in the restaurants.
