Dak Hanmari Korean BBQ

I went with my family the other day, but unfortunately we all had diarrhea after coming home. I suspect it might have been the marinated pork, possibly expired. It was really disappointing, especially because I had eaten here once before and always thought this was a reputable, long-established place.

This meat buffet is highly recommended! I visited with my wife and her family on a Saturday evening, and the place was packed.nnWe tried a variety of meats, and none of them disappointed us. We especially loved the pork belly and ribs, I loved shrimps, and they were outstanding. We ate a lot!nnThe side dishes were also delicious and paired perfectly with the beef and pork: pickled radish wraps , napa cabbage , spicy rice cakes , sweet rice punch , and pork bone soup . We left absolutely stuffed. Definitely a place worth visiting!

It's been my third time to eat at this place. It's always been a satisfying experience for me. You can just call to book a table. I love the choices of meats and seafood. My son loved the lamb slices. I love their sikhye. It's refreshing especially if you have been eating with the spicy sauces. Their choicea of cooked food is also great. Place is always packed regardless of occasion. Toilet is clean. Current price per person is $43.50. I think when I first came here it was just $37. Will still be back.

A good selection of meats, great for a group setting! Was also really pleased with the Sikhye sweet rice punch, perfect to balance the food! They also offer a wide range of hot foods which includes fried chicken, spicy rice cakes tteokbokki, and traditional Korean Japchae noodles, in case you get hungry while cooking the meats!nnThe service was really quick, and the staff are quick to clear plates and change the grills.nnWe visited on a Monday evening and it was still busy, so it’s definitely worth booking just to be sure!nnPricewise, it’s might seem a little steep $43.50 per person but the quality, and all-you-can-eat nature makes it stand out against other K-BBQ places.nnParking in front of the venue is limited, but there is free public parking on the opposite side of the road. Takapuna also has decent public transport options.

The best Korean BBQ in the North. Very good and quick service, lovely staff. Meat and vegetables are fresh. Plus they are refilled timely. The grill tray is cast iron, and they a chimneys at each table, so it is not too hot inside.nPretty busy so it is recommended to book a table in advance. Also parking is limited, so plan your trip.
