It’s on a completely different scale compared to AZITO/ in Newmarket!nThat said, Mukbang Korean BBQ on Queen Street does offer hot pot dishes, so depending on your preference, some people might consider that their top choice instead.nWe didn’t make a reservation and walked in, but we were warmly welcomed and seated straight away, which was fantastic.nThe variety of dishes is probably the best you can find in Auckland.nI was especially happy that they had gejang marinated raw crab – that was a real highlight.nnThe grill paper was replaced as many times as needed at no extra charge, which we really appreciated.nAll the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.nnHonestly, this restaurant was so amazing that my vocabulary isn’t good enough to fully describe how great the experience was.nAn outstanding place – highly recommended!
Been here for dinner, place and vibe is good. Loads of options for food. Very moderate service and communication, food is not being refilled properly especially in warmers. Recommend only once unless the service improves.nAlso to note very limited options for Fish and no lamb at all.
$42 all you can eat to dine in at night, $18 take away. You get a massive selection of both ready to eat foods and raw meats, vegetables and seafood to BBQ at your table. The desert bar is nice and their sponge cakes are probably the best I've had from an all you can restaurant. Definately worth the money regardless if you dine in or take away.
Came to bring my family here first time. We tried out their $18 AYCE lunch menu. The food was OK. However my child wanted some Kim chi but no side dishes were included which is a shame. You'd expect a Korean restaurant to at least have side dishes with their food. It would have to be an additonal $4 per person. We did get drinks and ice cream. The desert was actually quite good. Matcha and vanilla. The customer service was cold and not very friendly. Could have greeted us and told us what we can and can not have properly. Overall an OK experience. My kids were full and enjoyed the food, my eldest enjoyed the beef ribs, the chup Jae was. Might come back again if we are in the area.

My initial visit was to celebrate a friend’s birthday, followed by a family outing with my parents, and this time, I returned with friends, eager to satisfy our cravings for authentic Korean samgyeopsal.nnThe restaurant boasts a welcoming ambiance, complemented by an extensive selection of premium meats, including pork, beef, lamb, and seafood. The array of side dishes and ready-to-eat hot foods further enhances the dining experience, offering a delightful variety of flavors. A standout feature is the dessert selection, particularly the ice cream vending machine, which adds a sweet conclusion to the meal. It’s worth noting that beverages are available at an additional cost.nnFor those seeking an authentic and enjoyable Korean barbecue experience in Auckland, FKB is a commendable choice.
