Kelston Mall

While this mall serves its purpose well for grocery shopping with the convenience of Countdown, its overall ambiance leaves much to be desired. The prevalence of shuttered stores and early closures contributes to a rather desolate atmosphere, reminiscent of an abandoned mall. While it may suffice for quick errands, it lacks the vibrancy and activity one would expect from a thriving shopping center.

Kelston Mall is a convenient local shopping destination with a variety of stores catering to everyday needs. While the mall offers a decent selection of shops, there is room for improvement in expanding the range of retailers available. Additionally, extending the operating hours, especially in the evenings, akin to Countdown supermarket, would greatly benefit the community. This would provide more flexibility for shoppers with busy schedules and enhance the overall accessibility of the mall. With a few enhancements, Kelston Mall has the potential to become an even more vibrant hub for the neighborhood.

Its really handy for me if I'm up that way.nSame distance for me as Woolworths.nIt's a smaller store and the staff are super nice.nIt does get busy around 6PM.nI think its allot cleaner than Woolworths at Newlynn Woolworths.

There are always scum bags hanging around this place asking for money, most of the time they have an attitude with it. Let’s the whole place down and makes me nervous to take my kids there with the aggression from some of the men who think it’s ok to target woman and children, asking for money and if you have something to say about not asking you for money anymore, they get on their hind horse and attack you verbally. Awesome place to be in west Auckland.

It is a small mall, but it has a Countdown and all the basic shops you need. Barber, nail salon, Thai massage, hand made craft store, dental clinic, dollar shops, sushi kiosk, lovely corner Cafe near the front entrance serves breakfast and Cafe and Vietnamese food. Outside, there is a wine and liquor shop, Subway and McDonalds.
