Stayed for 3 nights, first night unfortunate incident with being awoken by a cockcroach crawling on my shoulder, reaction from manager when advised was "oh that's no good" on last day we again encountered another cockcroach in the bathroom so all in all not our best experience. Did write to establishment as felt compensation was in order but manager not happy to offer any, we won't be returning. Rooms: Room tidy but some of its features were worn, panel heater in bedroom cracked, power switch not working, spare blanket on bed dirty, kitchen faucet leaking, things that could easily be fixed at minimal cost.
The rooms at Judges pool motel are well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. I appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail. The amenities provided were more than sufficient, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The customer service was outstanding. The staff was always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere throughout my stay. I look forward to returning in the future.
I and my family lived in the motel for two nights early July 2023. The room was clean and tidy. The owners treated us friendly and warmly. When they knew that we would be snow skiing in Mt. Ruapihu, they lent us children’s skiing clothes and provided lot of useful information to us. After we left the motel, some clothes and wire for our hand phone were forgot in the room, they mailed back to us free and promptly. Thanks the owners very much.
We stayed at this hotel for two days and had a good experience. The location is not far from Tongariro National Park. The owners were friendly and treated us Chinese Oolong tea. They also lent us two pairs of hiking poles. The two rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy. We had our own car parking space. Highly recommended!
Thanks Rhett and Stella again for hosting our group for our annual fishing competition. We have never had any bad service from you guys and enjoy the ideal amenities available for our needs. You guys always take on board our feedback and try to make improvements even in such hard financial times.Thanks also for the generous gift for our prizegiving. The guy at reception was friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well stocked to cook a meal. Good room for what you pay for. Just watch the tree branches if it is very windy and parking vehicle in the front carpark not in front of your roomRooms: 5/5

Worse experience of my life , I have stayed at many many motels and the service here from the lady was by far the worst! We were also refused towels it was 1 per person for 3days , the lady owner was extremely rude & kind of creepy! The guy was fine but I doubt anyone would want to stay there with such a horrible person like her. I high recommend not staying here, worse place in turangi!!!!
So much more than expected for the budget price! Big apartment. Clean. Great service. Friendly. Left the key out for us. Milk for my tea and good quality coffee for morning. And very quiet. Great bed. Good quality clean linen. Thank you!Rooms: 5/5
