Best Western Parklands Motorlodge

Came on an organized tour. Rooms are fine, hoped to have my bed made today but only got new towels. Coffee for one day, shampoo and soaps bare minimum . Excellent breakfast buffet. Dinners good but service for a group of 17 challenging.Rooms: 4/5

Very tidy grounds, games room bring coins, pool accommodates a good range of depths, playground with jumping pillow and trampoline, camping areas and motel studios. Staff have been very friendly and approachable. Don't expect housekeeping to make your bed but they will offer a clean and restock bathroom supplies other supplies via office. It's not up-class but a very well catered family venue, highly recommend.

Only dined here, did not stay the night. We enjoyed our meals, pan fried snapper with asparagus. Fresh ingredients, excellent quality. Made us decide to stay here next trip. 1 star off as I can not rate the accommodation ... yet.Rooms: 5/5

GOOD BEFORE BUT NOW… We went here on the way to Cambridge and back in April. Great stay then. The food was very good. We didn’t stay here this trip because the price has gone up and they charge $5 per dog…for what! We did go to the restaurant and ordered the Pub Style Chicken that we had in April. Overcooked chicken and horrible rubbery poorly cooked frozen veg. Not worth $35. Will not be back again.

We enjoyed our stay,room was fresh and clean on arrival. Had dinner at the Riverside Restaurant,food was awesome,good portion sizes. Was a slight issue with the shower,took a really long time to heat up,but it did the job nonetheless.Rooms: 5/5

Stayed here on our second night in NZ. It was passable, with a powered site for the camper van, shower toilet block were alright. Didn’t have payWave but was able to insert card to pay.

Had a lovely stay at parklands over the new year period. Staff were amazing helpful & friendly. The grounds were very clean & tidy & our room was immaculate . Was our first time in Turangi & will definitely be back to stay at parklands . Thsnkyou Chenara for a lovely stay Rooms: 5/5

Great camping sites, very nice kitchen facilities, clean showers and friendly staff!

Swimming pool and jumping, etc, all friendly for kids. But the restaurant is 4 star of 5. Not pretty for the food, just normal.
