Ironic Cafe & Bar

We went on Mother's day for lunch. A busy day with heavy bookings due to graduation and Mother's day. Staff were friendly and when we arrived without a booking they bent over backwards to fit us in outside and offered a heater and blankets to keep warm. Food came in reasonable time. We ordered from lunch menu, kids menu and cabinet food. Our family of 4 enjoyed their meals.

The last experience was great but not this time. The waitress gave us two options after we found a curly hair in one of our dishes during eating Beef Filet Mignon which we believe from one of their chef beard. Anyway we chose one of the two options free dessert or remove the cost of drinks but no option for replacing a new one and we happy to remove the drinks cost. After the meal and we went to pay the bill for 12 meals but it came out that we still charged the full price with drinks. Hopefully this message will improve on food hygiene and don't disappointed customers on any deals.

We all gathered at Ironic after a Funeral. The service was epic and the food was so tasty and yummy; presented beautifully. My salmon roulade was absolutely Delicious and has to be one of my favourite meals I've eaten in a very very long time. I loved the decor and the outside area. I very much enjoyed my beers and food and highly recommend Ironic for a cold Beer, wine, hot drink or something tasty To Eat from the Cabinets or from the menu. I will definitely be back next time im in Dunners. Isn't it ironic ?

We held an event here and everything was incredibly awesome. The platter we got was delish and huge! There was loads of drink options and the staff were super friendly and nothing was an issue. We really appreciate how Ironic accommodated our group of 21 in such a friendly way where nothing was a problem! Will 100% be back. We loved it!

Awesome friendly staff and fantastic food! The head Chef owner? Took time out to come and talk to us, taking all care with my wife's dietary needs...and giving great recommendations of wine choices. Just an incredible dining experience all round. Dietary restrictions: They cover and cater for every dietary Need.

Decided to go for an early dinner and arrived at an empty restaurant. Seating is was easy & we had a lovely table in a sunny spot inside the restaurant. The waiter was a new I think & got a little confused with our drinks order. The meals were good & I can understand how they won awards back in 2015. I would certainly recommend the place & hope you get a more experienced waiter.

Wanted a bite to eat early afternoon, but most of the cafés we tried had stopped serving. We found Ironic, opposite the station where the kitchen was taking orders till 2.30pm. Friendly staff, food was OK. Chips were a bit salty. Can't take salt off, but you can put it on. Nice local beer and coffee..Food: 4/5

Tasty brunch and great coffee. Took quite a bit of time to get served because they told us to "take a seat" and then focused exclusively on about 3 groups of people who walked in after us and ordered at the counter. Had to go up to the counter to order in the end. The coffee was really good when it arrived and the brunch food was delicious. Decor was cool and a nice atmosphere. So close to a 5 but the unfocused service thing meant it just felt short.
