If you are looking for the best priced fuel in Rotorua check these guys out first. Only self service. No shop or trappings. However, for diesel, 91 or 98 these guys usually smash it.

Average gas station. Pay at pump. The price is usually better than BP even with an AA Card 6 cent a litre discount. I've never had to wait for a pump. Good option, especially if you want a quick stop.
