Gondola - Summit Station

Fun scenic ride up one of the highest points in Christchurch, also have an info centre that you can learn about how the island was formed millions of years ago. There's also a cafe on the top for a nice meal. The scenic views on the top is really stunning and beautiful, be prepared for strong winds at times.

Amazing views!! Great little souvenir shop and the Cafe was lovely too. A must see when visiting Christchurch.

Beautiful panoramic view of the city, ocean and the landscape.nWould recommend. You can drive near up the summit point and walk 7-10 min to reach the top.

Hype was more whereas the real exp was not as rewarding as claimed in flyer. Average.. nt breathtaking at all... view on top was good but the hill.top was not guarded by railing. Too risky for children... I believe it is priced higher as compared to experience

Awesome views! After taking the gondola to the top you can look at the scenery from the deck of the building or explore on the summit. There is a walking track you can take from there which was enjoyable, it's a bit hilly and rocky so you need comfy shoes. The cafe inside the main building is nice and spacious with tasty food and drinks available, you can sit by the big windows to enjoy it. I spent around 3 hours there, recommend if you like scenery and/or walking trails
