The walk is about 1-2 hours depending on your speed and time you spend in the cave. A easy and fun family walk for kids 5 and over. Beautiful view of Sumner beach.
Easy walk but stunning view. I came here with my two chihuahuas although they were in the backpack
Don't use Google Maps and search for Barnett Cave as you get your car or motorhome to climb an almost too steep hill. Search for Barnett Park as that is where the track starts. Enjoy.
Lovely quiet place to have a snooze in the car while my son did the hike to the cave!
Best place to park to go to Barnett Cave. There are restrooms, and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the cave one way. After parking the car, walk along the grassy field towards the mountain.
