Barnett Cave walk, Public Car Park

Walk takes about an hours round trip, depending on how long you spend in the cave. Easy enough for most, have seen plenty of kids on the walk also

Beautiful day for a walk. Fantastic to see all the young families enjoying the walk as well. This is not particularly challenging but you do need to be ambulent as it is not wheelchair accessible. However there was an 84 yr old using walking poles who wasn't having any problem. Highly recommend for an afternoon out. There was plenty of parking.

A lovely walk and the view is just fantastic

Nice loop hike with a cool view of the valley wasn’t very crowded with people, the park below had some friendly dogs running around

The walk is about 1-2 hours depending on your speed and time you spend in the cave. A easy and fun family walk for kids 5 and over. Beautiful view of Sumner beach.
