Golden Yellow Chinese Takeaway

Loooove the Hot chips here!! The Chinese food is nice and pricing is fair. I don't recommend the burgers though. The last burger I ordered from here was a pork burger which consisted of mainly lettuce stalk and 6 small pieces of pork.

I tried to order food over the phone and there was a bad connection, the lady on the phone told me to "get lost" when I tried to place an order, i work in retail myself and can absolutely say this was very unprofessional behavior. Following this I placed an order with a different place which had a far friendly staff that could hear me properly so maybe golden takeaways simply either has a bad connection or can't understand when I ask "large steak fried rice and chesse burger"

We ordered the wonton noodle soup and sweet and sour pork. The wonton soup was completely flavourless veges were over cooked and soggy, wontons were also bland. Sweet and sour pork, pork was extremely chewy, batter was terrible.

Our go to local Fish and Chips. Lovely people, yummy food! And they sell plants. So good! Always coming back for more. We get the usual everytime.

Love going here been going here for 10 years! Love the takeaways always freshly cooked!

Great people! I love how they do my fish and my granddaughters have always loved their food! Phone ahead especially Thursday after 6pm on as there can be a queue. Great local!

Everything was so very fresh. Their won tons were encased while you waited there, that is how fresh they are. Hot dogs and crab sticks had the most amazing batter. Not often you get your crab just right, it wasn't tough or rubbery and it wasn't soft and mushy. Perfect!!! Same for the sausage in the hot dog nice moist pork. And it wasn't oily and fatty. Very nice takeaway half way along Blockhouse Bay Road. Happy Tummy
