GNS Science

This place is a must for teachers of all levels including home schoolers. Their library is extensive, the quality of resources is amazing. I have used them many times. If you know your topic or need some extra tuition they used to be able to help I don't know if they still do this side of things. Guest speakers but be specific about tour topic because this is such a wide field an exciting one get your students hooked on science. I did and even now they say hey you taught me science it was so cool. Never be afraid of getting away fro chalk and talk. Science lives in every aspect. Signed an enthusiast.

An interesting place with interesting people. Go to the open day and learn some intriguing facts about new Zealands geography.

GNS Science Te Pū Ao is a major New Zealand research institute, researching geology, geophysics and nuclear science. Formerly the Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences IGNS from 1992 to 2005. It is worth visiting, learning about, and exploring.
