I can throughly recommend Gnomes as the best ski boot fitters out there. The service was fantastic. My feet have never felt this good in boots ever. The fitter made sure that my weight was correct, scanned my feet, went over and above to make sure that the boots fitted correctly. I have never ever skied with boots as comfortable as these and I could happly have my feet in them all day without having to unbuckle my boots.nThanks for such a great service.
Absolutely brilliant boot fitters. Went in with my old boots have been fitted last season and having issues with them. Ended up getting fit for new boots and I’ve never been more comfortable! Great knowledge of boot selection, fitting practices and super friendly. Would recommend to anyone in Canterbury looking to get some new boots. 100% worth it.
Like Andrew Mcloughlin below we went here with the intention of buying a full touring setup for my partner and myself.nnThe boot fitter was rude, told me she wasn’t going to answer my questions because too much information would just “confuse me”, and also implied my partner wouldn’t actually be doing any touring anyway.nnLeft as quickly as possible. There aren’t many ski shops around so came back to ask a question about ATK adjustment plates and met with the same rudeness and basically said she didn’t care and was going to hang up.nnIf you want more than being arrogantly told what to do then moved on as fast as possible go somewhere else.nnIn hindsight I could have walked out that day with 2 sets of camox freebirds or majesty superpatrols, raider EVOs, and dynafit radical pros/Scarpa Gea RS and been as happy as a clam. After this experience I ended up with 2 similar sets ordered from the US for a comparable price, have learnt a lot from people willing to share, the boots fit great and we’re equally excited
Such a good experience getting expertly fitted for boots at Gnomes, I gained so much knowledge and came away with a boot that I know is fitted for me. Amazing service and lucky to have in Canterbury!
I bought boots and made an appointment with Ally to do my footbed and Boots fitting.nnAlly was very professional throughout the whole fitting process and took note of all the details that needed attention in case he wasn't around the next time I came back. Other boot fitters were also available to help me.nnAlly also answered all of my questions about the boots and helped me get the gloves I'd been looking for a long time.nnI am a ski enthusiast and I have been to many different ski shops and I will definitely come back to gnomes again.nnThanks to Ally and the team there.nCan't wait back to snow!!
