Received fantastic service and advice from the Gnomes team. All skiers know that a properly fitted ski boot is the most important piece of equipment, and Gnomes is the only place that can tailor-fit a ski boot to an individual's unique feet. While we were there, we also sought some free advice from the team on ski pole size and skis.
As a first time boot buyer I had no idea what to expect but what I received was outstanding customer service and super knowledgable ski advice and walked out with exactly what I needed. Time taken to explain to me why I wanted what they were suggesting which made me feel completely in safe hands. Also plenty of time taken in finding the right helmet/goggle combo too. Didn't feel rushed at all! or pressured to buy anything. Thanks for your time Leith!
Day One, Mount Hutt. After four hours on the slopes with brand new boots, supplied and expertly as it turns out fitted by Leith, NO PAIN! I had no idea it was possible, believing the myth that there would always be pain involved with ski boots. I had been lead to believe that new boots would be painful for four to five days of skiing. Not if you get them properly fitted.nI thoroughly recommend Gnomes and their fitting crew if you're thinking of new boots. Thanks Leith!
Ski experts indeed. Easy pricing, everything clear and laid out, easy to book in advance, turned up, was sorted in less than five minutes by someone who clearly knew what they were talking about. Rentals were straight forward and good value for money. Kit quality was excellent, boots super comfy and fitted great.
Team at gnomes was really helpful and knowledgeable. Gave accurate and up to date weather and driving conditions.nI always expect someone renting chains to tell you to take them just in case but they told us there was no need based on the forecast so we didn't have to unnecessarily spend money on that.
