Gemmell's Footwear

I went there recently to have my boots re heeled . They did a marvellous job and I am very happy with the results. It took 3 weeks for them to complete my order because they are very busy. The shop is large and airy and has a feel of yesteryear. Friendly staff located conveniently on symonds Street.

Your job amazed me!! I dropped off a pair of old shoes with broken soles, I thought they would not be replaceable, my shoes surface had scratches and some grinding crack. You returned them as if they were brand new. Job well done!!!

Great service & a fast turnaround. We needed our shoes repaired within a few days for a wedding & Gemmels provided above & beyond.

Had my favourite pair of GYW service boots resoled at Gemmell's recently, and they did a fantastic job. It took a while though, as they didn't have the soles I wanted in stock, but it was well worth the wait. It's good to know there's at least one shoe repair shop in NZ that can [properly] resole goodyear welted shoes/boots, stitching and all.

Did a great job of repairing a school backpack and soft suitcases. It did take longer than I was originally told but I'm happy with the repairs.

Awesome work for the resoling on my red wings, could not be more happy. I have one more pair which probably needs resoling, my question is do you guys carry vibram soles?

Great service on a last minute tidy up for a pair of boots. The missus says there's a cute dog too.

Fixed/replaced my suitcase wheel. I called ahead and they were able to take it asap and was repaired overnight. Reasonably priced. Would return/recommend. Also got both a txt and email to confirm when repair was complete.
