Distinction Rotorua Hotel & Conference Centre

The hotel has a charming and well-maintained exterior & lobby that gives a great first impression. However, once you step inside, the rooms feel quite dated and are in need of a refresh. The decor looks tired, and the furniture could use an upgrade. While the stay was overall comfortable, modernizing the rooms would significantly enhance the guest experience. The breakfast is average. No decent coffee option.

Lovely stay. Stayed one night with my girlfriend. Stayed in the Deluxe King, with a balcony overseeing the pool. Pool, jacuzzi and grotto spas were 10/10 wonderful experience. Loved the breakfast buffet. Will certainly recommend to friends and family, and will stay again.nnThank you for the pleasant experience!

An older hotel that was upscale when it was built. Now it used by many tour companies as their hotel for Rotorua. They have an ok breakfast but the coffee isn’t that great. They are a good 40 minute walk to the center of town.

Been there twice, love the rooms, love the pool and the spas and especially love the breakfast. My kids love it too. I find the place charming and peaceful.

Beautiful hotel but the bar is a let down. What was once a beautiful Irish themed cosy pub is now a freezing cold waiting room...the environment feels like an airport.
