Copthorne Hotel Rotorua

Clean sanitary room, luxurious soft clean bed !! Coffee making in room. Heating took a minute but then toasty. Outdoor Pool that is indoors!! and then 2 jacuzzi's to soak in. Great options for TV channels. Appreciated the free wifi for work purposes. Didn't need to use restaurant but it looked top class. Another setting with bar and comfy seating included a fire to relax in front of. There is plenty of safe parking. Felt safe in the whole complex. Friendly welcoming and smiling staff. I appreciated the professionalism. I'm staying here for the rest of year because it's perfect for my needs and they do it so well ! Great nightly rate, affordable, and booking was a breeze with Theresa. Thankyou so much.

Similar experience to others. We’re told the restaurant wouldn’t be open until the day after we left. Receptionist friendly but it all felt empty. Room was only ok but staff hadn’t replaced empty soap, one coffee, milk carton already opened. Don’t like giving poor reviews but a lot of work should be done.

Reminded me of an Eastern European communist resort. There were no people. Everything was closed. Restaurant closed. Bar closed. Lobby full of mismatched furniture. The hotel is looking just a shadow of its former self. Utterly depressing. The bed had been moved to fit another single bed into the room. The head board being attached to the wall was therefore misaligned with PowerPoints and light switches directly under the pillow. Staying here was the low point of an otherwise wonderful weekend break in Rotorua

Very dated & so much needed replacing. Beds were comfy & all was clean. Disappointed on arrival, reception empty, couldn't even get a cup.of tea, we were told kitchen closed, no.one. pull put a kettle on! No background music, felt like a funeral.home, lots of space & no atmosphere at all. Lots of parking available!!

Great location quiet room, has everything in it. The big tv is definitely a killer. Brekkie in the morning was very good as well. Plenty of parking space. This is a very good place to stay
