Third time coming to this playground with my sons since the big upgrade looks better and more areas for kids of all ages, favourites were the swings and flying fox.
Love this park. It has a fenced section for babies, toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, space for throeing a ball, and all manner of swings, slides, trampolines, flying foxes and balancing/climbing stuff. Has a good amount of parking too, either there or across the traffic lights at the town center.
Great facilities and top of the line equipment. However, the positive stops there unfortunately. While it was great to see the park being used by lots of kids and adults, it was really disappointing and sad to see the amount of rubbish lying around. There were open containers where birds would gather and pick off it. There was tagging in some spots too.nnThe slide in the fenced kids area couldn’t be used because there was spilled milk running down it. Empty bottles and bottle caps lying around everywhere.nnGreat investment into the community. Now it’s up to the community to preserve it and take care of it.
Thank you Auckland Council for finally spending some money in our Hood . Awesome place to bring the kids.. only problem is getting them to leave!nnActivities for all ages. From the babies fenced off area, the big kids playground, flying fox and obstacle courses.nnAlso have a basketball court, a skate park and exercise equipment for parents 11/10
What an upgrade!nEspecially the enclosure for lil houdinis lolnnPlenty of space for all ages, across the road from Mangere Town Centre.nnPublic toilets and parking
