Crispy eatery

Must visit Crispy Eatery,great customer service.We had a great time, enjoyed every meals and delicious drinks . Cakes were super delicious.Easy to find the place if you google it. Plenty parking on the Main Street but 60mins . But plenty parking of street . Lot of sitting area .Prices are reasonable,good place for brunch .Thank you for having us.

I had high expectations coming to Crispy Eatery and everything was great except unfortunately our meals!nThe drinks were unique - bumblebee iced coffee was strong but yum, and the rose coffee doesn’t taste as good as it looks. The bulgogi beef sandwich was more of a burger and there weren’t many condiments in it to add more flavour. Chips were cooked well though. The signature eggs benny was big let down - $25 for 2 dry pork belly pieces, a piece of bread and some veggies :/nThe cake looks more flavourful than it tastes, recommend trying it for the texture more than the flavour.nService was great and they accommodated my allergies without any problems. There is also no toilets here or any in walking distance.nSadly won’t be returning for another brunch here.

I stopped by to grab some of the honeycakes to go. The cafe was packed and very busy. What was interesting is that the honey cakes come in different flavours. The cakes will have a few layers of flavoured jelly amongst the layers. They also do a gluten free honey cake. I quite liked the chocolate one. I found the flavours of the fruit ones were mild. It did add an interesting texture to the cake.nnEdit: You are also able to buy a whole honey cake.

I’ve been here a few times now and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks here. The first time I came to try their take on an eggs benedict and I was very pleasantly surprised to find I enjoyed it being served on a crepe and with their twist on a hollandaise sauce. I later came back to try their honey cake and ferrero latte. The honey cake was perfect for me- not too sweet, beautifully layered and moist. The ferrero latte was also a winner for me. It came hot instead of iced which was a surprise but I ended up enjoying it more than when I later ordered an iced version. Their chocolate and vanilla cake is also delicious. I think I personally prefer the honey cake, but it is an amazing treat nonetheless.

LOVED it here! Features russian/georgian/eastern-european flavours which is so hard to find in Auckland!! Drinks are super innovative and lots of different coffee styles.nnFinally got to try their famous honey cake - it was delicious. Not too sweet, perfect balance of honey and cream, so good..nnHighly recommend the prawn pasta and eggplant. Service was great!
