Shore Road Cafe

Had a big family group and 2 dogs come here for brunch today and they set up a lovely table for us in the sun then when the rain started quickly found an under cover space and set it all up. The food options are great and really tasty. Good presentation and good coffee. Friendly relaxed vibe and good food. Really happy we came here thank you

On the plus side. The coffee is good and there's a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly but the food is at best average. I had eggs Benedict. They were hard and cold. The hollandaise sauce was nothing like I've experienced. I ate it as I was hungry. The others in the party weren't impressed either. We'd go back for coffee but that would be it.

Never in my life have I been charged extra for a “ takeaway “ coffee. An extra $1.00 for takeaway is absolutely absurd, the staff are nice however but the owner can get a grip with that pricing. As someone previously in hospitality I know there is already a 400% mark up on coffees and that the paper cups provided definitely do not cost the shop $1.00. Bad business

Food was tasty and presented well. The mushrooms on toast was very different from what I had tried before and I loved the poached egg we ordered some kid sized waffles wanted some but not a whole meal and they were very tasty. Will definitely try the fun size next time! Alai really enjoyed my hot chocolate l.

Food and coffee were outstanding. Service amazing. On a cold day the cafe was so cold it was no better than sitting outside. But all round great food. Will be back.
