Korean chicken with slaw and chips 26 and Sprite 5. Overall food was fine. Chicken inside was a bit dry but the sauce made it. Chips were cooked well. Slaw was amazing. Good portion size for price. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because of the sprite. You get it in a glass and I believe is from the tap which makes it taste flat and watered down. Good service though wait time was around 30-40 minutes long on a Thursday lunch.
The cauliflower dish was great and I’m very happy that the vegan dishes were labeled correctly. Serving size average. Flavour good. Priced $$. They ran out of tofu and vegan buns so I had to change my order but the chef was super nice about it and gave us complementary fries. Can’t complain that it came with mayo on the side though. Overall good experience.
I come here quite often for their roasted chicken; although they have other items on the menu, their roast chicken is as good as it gets. However this time, I came to try their Buffalo Chicken Burger with Blue Cheese Mayo. The chicken is fried with a spicy buffalo sauce and mayo. The chips are nice and fresh. As an Asian who loves his food spicy, i thought it was a tad too spicy. But otherwise, one of the best chicken burgers around although the price is a bit high for it.
Expensive and disappointing. The food looked good but the burger was tasteless. After a couple of bites, I figured that the odd taste was coming from the kimchi. I love kimchi but I thought the kimchi was not used properly in this dish. Chicken was really bland and had no crunch to it. I was looking for the gochujang taste but just couldn't taste it. The chips were good though. Properly seasoned. The rhubarb for the cheesecake was good but the cheesecake itself was average.
18/02/2023 around 18:00 there was no one seated in the dining area. The layout is very different has the kitchen, then walkway to store toilets then open dining area, this walkway this very busy, and it's quite open to onlookers into dining area there is no privacy, needs a glass/plant/brick wall border around dining area as i was holding my bag thinking someone could reach over and snatch it. Apart from that RJ's Customer Service was great we got ushered to our table, ordered meals even got suggestions, service was on point, meals were delicious. The only fault was that there was no dining privacy from walkway onlookers.
We stopped for breakfast and had bird on a waffle. It was amazing and delicious. Coffee was really good, staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
After rudely being told to wait by the cashier, my order was eventually taken by the chef. I ordered the "buttermilk fried chicken with slaw and chips" which was well below expectations at $25. Slaw was clearly budget bulk coleslaw, dry and tasteless, with almost no dressing. The chicken resembled frozen food from the supermarket and was also dry and tasteless. Chips were nice. Service staff were also nice. Good vibes, decor and location, but only ate it cause I was hungry and couldn't afford to by something else.
Will not be back. Service was terrible, waited at the please be seated sign and got shouted at from the kitchen to take a seat should’ve known then to walk away! The restaurant was quiet for a Friday night with only 2 other tables, firstly ordered cocktails which took an age to come, they had then run out of rice when we ordered food but offered to make up the difference with extra slaw which sounded good. However slaw came completely dry, zero dressing or sauce a bowl full of chopped cabbage. Our server brought the food and dropped it at the table then proceeded to what can only be described as tried to get away as fast as possible before any general service manners is that everything, is it all okay for you. I did manage to get her to come back and placed an order for another drink, I turned around to ask my partner what she wanted and by the time I turned back around she was gone again. The speed to leave the table did not reflect in the speed of drink service though as I ordered this when we first got our food and by the end of the meal it still hadn’t arrived so we decided to leave. Luckily we checked the bill as this undelivered drink had still managed to be charged. We had gone into bird on a wire in a good mood looking forward to some good food and looking for a couple of drinks, but left bitterly disappointed and unsatisfied.
Thanks guys for sorting a speedy replacement delivery of my sandwich tonight. After it was delivered by cold and without fries. I am stuck at home with a broken leg and was really hungry. You even added extra chicken snack. Thank you.Food: 4/5
Had the OG Fried Chicken and a Strawberry Smoothie. The OG fried chicken had a decent serving size and was pretty tasty, but it would have nice to have a bit more sauce as it can get a bit dry without it. The Strawberry Smoothie was okay but quite watery for my liking.
