We had the most amazing care here. All the midwives were exceptionally caring and supportive and made the birthing process even more calming and stress-free than we could have ever expected. Phenomenal team and a truly wonderful place to have our first child.
I began my labour at the birthing centre in hopes of having a water birth, the room was spacious and comfortable with a large bath. Due to circumstances I had to transfer to the hospital which even tho I was in pain didn’t feel like a big trip to get there, it took 5 minutes max. I returned to the centre and spent two nights to recover with my partner and baby these two nights were crucial for us to be able to ease into understanding the needs of our baby and not stress about anything else. The team over the days and nights were amazing, all so kind and caring. They were very accommodating and willing to help/answer any questions we had. They provided breakfast, lunch and dinner for me and these meals were delicious cafe style nourishing foods! We left feeling so lucky and grateful for our stay. I would 100% recommend to all māmās to consider staying at the birthing centre. Thank you to the team for such a wonderful experience.
Absolutely incredible experience. I was lucky enough to transfer here after needing to birth at the hospital. The staff are fantastic. Everyone was so happy and caring. It was more like a hotel! The food was resturant quality, and it was so nice to have a room all to myself.
It seemed awesome and friendly until a few hours after delivering our boy there at the birth centre, so they recommended we go to hospital for a check up and potential iron transfusion but only if we choose to, and with the promise of coming back for our 2 nights regardless of anything because it’s all about being comfortable and our choice we’ll do they said, so we decided to go based off that, after that we tried to go back the same night and it became a only if cleared by the hospital we can go back witch is understandable, so we stayed 1 night in hospital with the promise again of going back if cleared the next day, then after being cleared by the doctors they made excuses and didn’t let us back at all even after the doctors ringing them themselves and clearing us, they got a bit more busy I do no that but not full at all, absolute let down. Take the money and run and not do the job. We ended up heading home and struggling with breast feeding, but then thames birthing centre has let us stay there proving further we’re cleared to, but they have Ben very helpful and are awesome people Thames so I definitely wouldn’t recommend Bethlehem myself although it’s very well presented
Thank you to all the wonderful staff who cared for me during my stay. What a lovely place to give birth! The food was excellent. It was so nice having my husband stay with me for the first night. The rooms are spacious and private. The staff are always there if needed. Thank you for allowing me unhurried time to bond with my baby before heading home!
