Feedback Regarding Today’s VisitnnMy experience today was unfortunately mixed—starting off poorly, improving briefly, then ending with discomfort and disappointment. I have very small veins and always advise staff in advance. I also experience anxiety around needles, which I explained to Karla. However, she did not acknowledge this, nor respond when I said the spot she chose looked like it would be very sore.nnDuring the blood draw, she moved the needle around without success and then abruptly pulled it out. When I expressed the pain and anxiety I was feeling, she responded with, “We’re doing the best we can,” in a tone that felt dismissive. While I absolutely believe your team is doing their best, it felt like I wasn’t being heard or respected in that moment.nnThankfully, Dexter stepped in and was excellent—kind, gentle, professional, and most importantly, he listened. The difference in care was very noticeable.nnUnfortunately, more than an hour later, my entire arm remains very sore from the first attempt. The pain has impacted my ability to use it, and I’ve had to take the rest of the day off. I’m disappointed by the lack of care shown initially, especially given how preventable this outcome might have been with more sensitivity and listening.
Robeena was very professional and fast with taking my bloods this morning. I appreciated her lovely demeanour and conversation to keep me distracted, she managed to take my bloods on the first go without any pain or issues which I am so thankful for as I tend to have very hidden small veins. She did it with such ease all whilst talking to me. You are a gem! 06/06/25 at 9am.
Big thanks to the two lab technicians I forgot their names but believe one is named Dexter. They helped us on March 6, 2025. They were incredibly patient and kind with my young nephew during his first blood draw, despite his distress. They handled it with care and reassured him afterward, calling him brave and helping him calm down. Their kindness made all the difference and I truly appreciate it!
Had a terrible experience here today, this was my first time having my blood tested. The lady behind the desk was very impatient when I wanted to sign in. Then, after waiting for 30 minutes a lab technician told me to go to one of their rooms. When she came in she practically pulled the referral out of my hands and impolitely asked me for my details. After filling in my details, she just put the needle in my arm and took my blood. No warning, no explanation, nothing. No care afterwards, she didn't even ask how I was feeling. She just told me to leave. I started feeling quite nauseous but felt so unwelcome that I did not feel comfortable telling anyone there. Very unprofessional...
The Indian technician was very rude. Has a bad attitude and was very dismissive to queries.n10:30am May31,2025nnIf you dont want to work Saturdays, dont show up. If you dont like your work, quit. Dont be an ass to patients.
