Just arrived in Auckland and needed to open a bank account under a certain visa. I didn't have the proof of address in the required format but Mahir Chand was super helpful & friendly in explaining what's needed and the alternative. Managed to get it sorted within less than an hour, he also showed me how to navigate around the online banking site. Really appreciate the help, thanks again Mahir!
If you feel like being yelled at, belittled, and undermined. THIS IS THE BRANCH TO GO!! They even have a two for one special! 2 FOH women taking turns, yelling at you, talked over AND a wee splash of threats, which is like a throwback threat from your mother when growing up in the 90’s. Wow ANZ, haven’t missed your level of abuse in customer “service”.
I don’t know what it is about being an ANZ customer that makes you feel more like an unwanted visitor. I walked into the San’s on Saturday to get change for my cash register in my bar. I waited outside for a couple of minutes being kept occupied watching the staff’s children played inside. There were no other customers when he finally came to open the door. I asked them for change and to my surprise and told me that he could not give me any change because they don’t do that service on the Saturday. He told me no ANZ branch does cash business on a Saturday. That’s absolutely no use to me who’s business is maximum at the weekend. I don’t know the stuff seem like they have no drive, purpose or energy. I don’t know, I have been looking for more and more reasons to move banks from ANZ this is another one to add to the list
Very rude elder Indian Lady at reception. Forgot to get her name. For some reason when you come here you feel unwanted and can feel the negative energy.. location is nice and clean but that lady needs to work on her customer service skills as she’s representing a large Business.
Poor customer service specially on weekends.nIf you don't want to work on weekend better sit home and relax. Don't open branch.
