I visited Anglesea A & E. It posted 14 patients waiting on line, with a huge 5 hour and 30 min waiting time.nnThe medical clinic was entirely empty. Not one soul being treated or even one patient in the entire facility, just me.nnMaybe they just don't want any patients over the holiday period.

Disappointing Service at Angle Sea Accident & Medical CarennI’m extremely disappointed with the service at Angle Sea Accident & Medical Care. Both my wife and I called the clinic after 9 PM to check the waiting time before bringing in our sick 6-month-old baby. We were told the wait would be three hours, but when my wife arrived after 10 PM, the staff were sitting around chatting, and there was no one else waiting.nnIt was clear they didn’t want to see patients at night and suggested we come back at 8 AM, even though I mentioned it was for a 6-month-old. We always knew it’s quieter at night, but the staff still gave misleading information. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially when a baby’s health is involved.

After coming to clinic with a wait time of 2hrs 40mins. Ended up waiting just short of 5 hours.only to learn they only had 1 doctor on. It was a Sunday. 1 doctor is disgusting. Urgent Care should gave better care

Racist. They let white people in before people of colour. Waited 6 hours and people behind us were seen first. My daughter could barely breathe and a white family had a son with a little scratch on his face and they were seen first even after I arrived hours before them. The ONLY people left in the waiting room were people of colour, Māori, Islanders and Indians. Extremely disgusted and I will DEFINITELY be talking to the medical council!

Not a good experience last night. Waited over 3 hours to see dr for flu symptoms/chest infection….Indian male Dr. who said food is a medicine and that I should eat oats, fish and coloured veg. Was very condescending to say the least. Advised against antibiotics and that I would get better in 2 to 4 weeks just by riding it out. He said my ears, chest fine, although one ear completely blocked and chest hurt when coughing and producing green phlegm. Utter waste of time and money…..ludicrous. Today I feel even worse and will have to now wait until my own dr can see me next week. I did insist he give me antibiotics, and am taking them against his advice. I have to work unfortunately and cannot just take 2-4 weeks off work.
