Loved everything about this Club.nFriendly relaxed atmosphere, excellent food.nProfessional friendly staff.nBest Cosmopolitan Club I've been too in NZ.nPalmerston North needs too take lessons from Hamilton as Palmy is the opposite in every way..

My partner and I were travelling and stopped in Hamilton overnight. We decided to dine and dance at the Workingmens Club. Although the club is well patronised, the club meals are expensive and, in our opinion, of poor quality. We stopped to enjoy a band and dance for a while. A good number of regulars came along on a Saturday night to enjoy dancing... Other interests include gaming, pool and socialising...

Good relaxing place for all ages. Plenty of 8ball Tables, Darts Boards and Snooker Tables. Somedays there's Indoor Bowls and others the Dance Class. Restaurant with SET menus, or specials and even Cavery and Bistros.

Good space, lots of atmosphere. Shame couldn't hear the ABs test match due to the band playing. Not a good look.

Food was not great. Out of the 6 meals. 5 were steak the chips were cold and soggy the steak was warm. Not a great expirence and as a member of the club I wouldn't eat there again
