I needed to start regular exercises again & my wife convinced me Smyth was the way to go. I started off taking part in a six week boot camp & haven’t looked back. The coaches are all fantastic & provide all the advice you need when training plus they continue to communicate away from the gym offering advise specifically to me. Now a full time member & loving the feeling of completing a workout session. 100% recommend to anyone wishing to invest in themselves. The flexible time table works perfect for me if I can go before or after work. Keep it up Smyth Fitness. Your doing a superb job!.
I joined as a six week trial after my mum has been a member for quite a few years now. I had experienced some sessions during lockdown and loved it but joining and going in person, it was even better! Having had tried a couple of gyms and done classes for years I can honestly say I haven’t ever felt more comfortable or enjoyed it more than I have with Smyth. The community feel, the people, the coaches and the support means I never dread going. I was excited to sign up as a full member and will not look back. The classes are varied meaning each week is different and I have already noticed big changes but also mindset changes which I can implement throughout my life. Smyth have got an incredible thing going for them and Si, Holly and the team are amazing. Couldn’t recommend more if you’re looking for weight loss, lifestyle change, getting stronger and a love for exercise!
I joined initially for the six week challenge and quickly found I loved the sessions and the atmosphere at the gym. I am now a full member, as is my husband and we are absolutely loving it. Each coach is approachable for advice or support, as are the fellow members, everyone works as a team. I never leave a session feeling I haven’t worked my body it’s hardest and I’ve yet to have a session where I haven’t had a giggle either! Which it great both physically and mentally! I love the weekly messages from the coaches to ask what our goals are as it gets me thinking about what I want to achieve and helps me get in to the mindset to make those goals reality. I still have a way to go to reach my end goals but I am enjoying the process which I never have before and I am seeing results in my body and in my fitness and energy levels. Wow what a fantastic place! I completed the 6 week boot camp and everyone was so welcoming and the coaches helpful and supportive. There’s a great family feeling about the gym which is led from the positive friendly welcome from the owner Si. Great induction and pack with all the information to help you meet your targets. I’ve lost some weight and definitely feel fitter but more importantly I feel like I’ve achieved far more and completed much more than I ever thought I could! I mean you work hard and everyone commits everything but you just see the enjoyment on everyone’s faces which is infectious! Thank you everyone, would 100% recommend you give it a go! Keep it up, it’s fab!!
I did the 6 week boot camp which was excellent in that the classes were varied and different every time I visited. I had no hesitation in joining as a member as the instructors are excellent and very attentive and push you to achieve results. I really cannot fault the facilities and instructors and would highly recommend anyone wishing to get fit to join Smyth boot camp. I lost half a stone in my six week trial and I feel amazing. The classes are structured and different every time and the members and instructors are really friendly and I always feel comfortable when attending a class. I wouldn’t hesitate to take the six week challenge you will never look back.
After wanting to get back into fitness but really struggling to find motivation, I spoke to Simon who encouraged me to come along to Smyth fitness and try the 6 week bootcamp. After the first session, I haven't looked back and I am now a full member. All coaches and members were extremely welcoming which made it even better. It's nothing like your generic gym setting. The sessions are fun, coaches are really encouraging and they have massively helped to build my confidence back up. I have become so much stronger and would highly recommend to anyone!
Well what can I say. I joined the six week boot camp. To loose weight and get fitter. And it was well worth it. Si and his team do a fantastic job.and everyone makes you feel welcome when you walk through the door. They cover everything you need to know about calories, protein, what exercises you need to do. The classes are varied covering strength and fitness and are on at multiple times throughout the day, which is fantastic if you work shifts. The instructors never stop advising you the correct way of doing things, and giving you support if your flagging a bit. I've now completed the boot camp with fantastic results. And have become a fully fledged member to continue my journey to a healthier me. Thanks Si and the team.
Fully enjoyed my time at Smyth Fitness, I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to lose weight or build muscle, I’ve been off and on going to the gym for years and never really saw any real results. I attended 3 times per week which I managed to fit in easily as there were lots of slots available. I've mainly stuck to the nutrition targets given to me and still managed to enjoy a few beers and treats now and again . The coaches are very helpful with form checks and are happy to go through any exercise you are unsure about, they are constantly checking your form and will give advice if needed or that extra push to go heavier or lighter.
When I signed up at Smyth I was tubby, unfit and dreading all the unsavoury comments that you get at a ‘normal’ gym but when I came in for my first session I was greeted by smiles and easy conversation! Smyth is such a wonderful, welcoming, positive place to exercise and make friends! The coaches are supportive and friendly and the classes are brilliant, they really get the best out of you! If you are thinking about it, get in touch you won’t regret it!!
In February 2022 I started researching online as I really wanted to get myself fitter and in better shape. I then came across Smyth Fitness and after speaking with Simon I signed up to the 6 week challenge. I was super nervous as I didn't know anyone there but I turned up on my first session to be welcomed by a lovely bunch of people. The sessions are full of variety each week and the coaches are super supportive. I loved the 6 weeks and have now become a member which I'm still thoroughly enjoying. My body shape has changed a lot and I'm now back in my pre-baby clothes. I would definitely recommend Smyth Fitness to any family or friends.
