Affordable Willowhaven Holiday Park

This is the second time we have stayed here. cabins are warm and welcoming. and are clean and tidy. Helen is great to deal with. And oh the pillows are the best. Would always stay here when comming to visit my niece.

Affordable place to staynClean and tidy units, wifi available. We stay here whenever in Rotorua.nLast stay was 22/06/2024.nHelen is a great host.nWe had units 10 and 11 as we were there with our adult daughters and their kids A couple negatives...n1. Right on lake front so should have signs up or notice in rooms saying weather lake is safe to swim in or put feet into.n2. The two cabins we had 10 & 11 don't have a hand rail for the steps leading onto the porch and could definitely use one.

Spent two nights here in my motorhome, lovely site right on the lake front. Very peaceful and friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again, as great value for money.

Unbeatable location - lake edge and walking distance to Ngongotaha shops. Good shared facilities, and spacious cabins with kitchens that are equipped than most motel ones. And Helen's easy to deal with and always helpful. My only caution is, this is a motorcamp so don't come if you're after a luxury lodge. And the cabins were built at a time when people didn't take a suite of electronic devices on holiday so you'll probsbly need a multiplug or two to get the best from the power points.

This place is right on the water.nBeautiful, so quiet and peaceful - a really lovely place to relax, go fishing, scooter/walk into the little village.nWould definitely recommend.nThe amenities are very clean and presentable, and FREE showers
