Affordable Willowhaven Holiday Park

This is the second time we have stayed here. cabins are warm and welcoming. and are clean and tidy. Helen is great to deal with. And oh the pillows are the best. Would always stay here when comming to visit my niece.

Lakeside spots were under construction or fenced off for some reason. Had our site cramped up a bit next to a cabin. Pretty expensive $25pp/n for an unpowered site for quite limited facilities and laundry is cash coins only.nnSites are quite small and facilities were clean-ish but not great. Location is also quite far away if you are wanting to see Rotorua.

Affordable place to staynClean and tidy units, wifi available. We stay here whenever in Rotorua.nLast stay was 22/06/2024.nHelen is a great host.nWe had units 10 and 11 as we were there with our adult daughters and their kids A couple negatives...n1. Right on lake front so should have signs up or notice in rooms saying weather lake is safe to swim in or put feet into.n2. The two cabins we had 10 & 11 don't have a hand rail for the steps leading onto the porch and could definitely use one.

This place is right on the water.nBeautiful, so quiet and peaceful - a really lovely place to relax, go fishing, scooter/walk into the little village.nWould definitely recommend.nThe amenities are very clean and presentable, and FREE showers
