Only thing I can complain about is the prices, if youre lucky enough to afford the lifestyle, it is well worth it! Very different from a normal gym, Activ8 just has this atmosphere of positivity and "you can do it". The trainers are experienced and knowledgeable and really put the time into individual needs. When you start going regularly, it starts to feel like a family : i have never found a better facility, even in Auckland. UPDATE: New shower facilities are so great with shampoo/condit. etc provided
The team at Activ8 are simply just the best. Walking in to a Hello from every Trainer there and being asked “How are you”, “How was your weekend” , “How’s your body feeling from the other day” just shows you that they are definitely on this fitness journey with you and full of passion for your well being and want those results for you . I have enjoyed many different sessions with these guys that We now have our own Work Group session each week and now my team are joining extra groups too...!!
A place where I have seen amazing results not just losing weight but also self confidence. They are aware of your injuries and can tailor the exercises to work for you so you are able to still get results. This is an amazing place what ever your fitness level the trainers make you feel welcome every time and always wonderful banter.
I have been coming to Activ8 for a year now and there is no other place I would rather train. The trainers are supportive and encouraging and every workout is different. The physical and mental benefits of adding these sessions to my week is invaluable.
I started at Activ8 just before lockdown and did some zoom classes now due to recommendations go to ladies group on Tuesday boxing on Wednesday and PT on Friday. Each group is different ladies group is great fun with lots of different exercises, boxing is a great workout and stress relief, my PT is helping me increase my strength now able to deadlift 50kg. Every time you go into Activ8 it's like go into a friend's house everyone is friendly and welcoming not just the trainers. I would recommend Activ8 to anyone whether starting out or wanting to return to the gym the atmosphere is always encouraging with great trainers who can adjust your workout, even if you are in a group training, to suit you and any injuries you may have.
These guys are amazing. Having trained and worked in the fitness industry and been a member of numerous gyms and fitness centres over 26 years I've seen a lot of different fitness facilities and trainers across NZ. ACTIV8 without doubt are the best encouraging, supportive , motivating and friendly trainers I have trained with. Complete confidence in recommending them if you want results with fun thrown in throughout.
The guidance and support of the team at Activ8 is second-to-none. They've shown me in a year just what I am capable of achieving while working on my overall health and fitness. They've created a family vibe that drives me to succeed and be a better, fitter and healthier person. I highly recommend this team and whether it's group fitness you're looking for or one-on-one training. They have something for everyone.
These guys are amazing, never had so much tailored fitness. They push me, motivate me and give me results, but take care of all my injuries. This place is like a second home, it's not a gym, it's a place to get motivated and have fun. No matter what your fitness level.
