AA Vehicle Testing New Plymouth

First time using this testing station, and wow what great service!! I was very impressed with the staff at the counter & the vehicle inspector was great too. My kids both received a free hot chocolate each while we waited, and the vehicle inspector was great in advising me where best to go for the things that needed fixing. Thank you AAVT New Plymouth!!

I have been coming here to get the warrant of fitness for the past 3 years after I got disappointed with vtnz twice. I'm so glad I found this place. It's a bit hard to find at 1st. The staff are wonderful friendly and polite. The wait time is not long either. Oh and a smashing free coffee on this best of a machine check my photo. So now I bring all my toys here. My bike trailer and car. Thanks AA

Was here getting a wof when i saw the so called manager shoved a recheck sheet in another customer's face and told her to go away. She was very upset seemed very confused as she had a part replaced that he was unwilling to check it. after seeing this I will not be going back.. all the other staff are friendly, seems a shame that this disgusting behavior is allowed.

On Friday afternoon 22nd March, I took a vehicle in for a re-check it had failed on a leaking steering box, a second hand steering box was fitted and it wasn't leaking now. Paul Atkinson the manger targeted me when he saw me in the lane, came to me instead of the 4 people waiting infront of me. Pulled the vehicle to one side and started measuring the wheels? Not sure why as it had just passed a LVV cert. After a considerable amount of time he drove the car around waved the check sheet in my face and then threw it at me, his words were leave go away it's not fixed. I was so shaken by it other customers came to me and asked if I'm ok.nnI did not want to take it back again after this so I had to get somebody else to take it back. This happened late Friday and the recheck was passed by another inspector Saturday morning.

Very quick and easy. Staff were really pleasant and there is a free drinks machine whilst you wait.
