Taranaki Base Hospital Emergency Room

One of the best hospital experiences, even though the pain was awful. Everyone works in the emergency room was so nice and supportive. Especially the nurse Debbie who is a human angel! She helped us a lot and comfort my mum from suffering. Thank you guys in the emergency room Taranaki Base Hospital. We love New Plymouth more because of you!

I have a burning throat cotinuios running nose snezzihg all the time and dizzy spells allso i was phoned up about an enlarged Splen that was picked up on a scan

Incredibly long wait even though my Doctor had rung ahead of me arriving. I was told the registrar would see me in 2 hours, which was fine because I know how busy and short staffed they are, but it ended up being over 8 hour's before I got through the door only to see a completely different Registrar to the one my doctor had spoken to.nI can't fault the staff at all they are all super lovely and caring. They are doing a fantastic job under the circumstances and I hope and pray that the understaffing and underpayment issues are sorted very soon.

Fantastic Dr's and staff. Took care of my Mother in law exceptionally well. Very very impressed with the level of care she received.

Unless you are 5 minutes away from death don't waste your time. 1 hour away from dieing and they would still make you sit in the waiting room
